There are people slipping into Trumps wake that are pretty scary. People that are smarter and more idealisticly bent than him .Trump in my opinion followed no idealistic path other than ones that stoked his ego and fed his narcissistic personality. The ones that are now moving in to replace him are the ones that truly believe  the alt right crap.

I don't know about that. Trump clearly wants to be a dictator. He's said it repeatedly. All his moves have been to secure himself as some sort of despot. He wants to be able to disregard the elections, he wants to be able to fire anyone he chooses and he attacks anyone, viciously, who disagrees. He's a racist POS, misogynist, and a criminal.

I agree with all of that. But it's all things that feed his ego and narcissism. Being God of the USA would be the ultimate in that. He has supported the Democrats in the past. I don't think he has any ideals other than Mr. Donald  ( all kneel before me) Trump. None, Zippo. Now DeSantis in Florida runs every decision on   a far, far right agenda. His decisions in Florida have killed many. He believes in the program where as Trump embraces it as a means to an end. That end being a deification of himself.  I truly think he is still trying to prove to his long dead Daddy that he is not only worthy but the greatest American ever. DeSantis in nothing but a Nazi  wearing a thin veil.

"Stupid is as stupid does". Don't confuse education with intelligence.

Yup. Academic education is no where near the sole source of intelligence development. It's meant to help one build their IQ and EQ.

With this particular person, no such luck.

No matter how he likes to appear learned and well spoken and here for the people blah blah blah, he's gradually been hard wired from a variety of different sources to be a genuinely morally and ethically corrupt human being with very little redeeming qualities. And in this case, as in him pandering to the lowest form of humanity, likeness attracts likeness bringing in gobs and gobs of money to line his pockets and his handlers. It's a business opportunity he is taking full advantage of with little repercussion other than social media shaming that ironically helps his cause financially.

I also think the bigger picture here is how flawed this supreme court 'system' is, along with all the other 'systems' in place, that need major major overhauling no matter what sane political, social ideology one holds.

Not going to happen I know but whatever.

https://www.reuters.com/world/us/donald-trump-sues-hillary-clinton-others-over-russian-collusion-allegations-2022-03-24/

Quote

WASHINGTON, March 24 (Reuters) - Donald Trump on Thursday sued Hillary Clinton and several other Democrats, alleging they tried to rig the 2016 U.S. presidential election by tying his campaign to Russia.

"Acting in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty," the former president alleged in a lawsuit filed in federal court in Florida.

Trump, who beat Democratic nominee Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, alleges "racketeering" and a "conspiracy to commit injurious falsehood," among other claims.

Trump's allegations in the lawsuit are undermined by a 966-page report issued by a Republican-led U.S. Senate committee in August 2020. That report concluded that Russia used Republican political operative Paul Manafort and the WikiLeaks website to try to help Trump win the 2016 election.

Manafort worked on Trump's presidential campaign for five months in 2016.

Russia’s alleged election interference, which Moscow denies, sparked a two-year-long U.S. investigation headed by Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

In the lawsuit, Trump is seeking compensatory and punitive damages. Trump said he was "forced to incur expenses in an amount to be determined at trial, but known to be in excess of twenty-four million dollars ($24,000,000) and continuing to accrue, in the form of defense costs, legal fees, and related expenses."

Of course, this will get tossed long before that ever happens. It's a frivolous suit from Trump and the typical 2-bit lawyers who work on contingency.

But it would be both hilarious and revealing to have Trump on the stand. The presiding judge could get so irate that the defendants could be awarded staggering costs. This would provide material for Colbert, Kimmel, Noah and Myers with grist for their mills for many, many shows and expose Trump for what he is- a developmentally delayed brat cushioned by wealth and privilege all of his life.

I was only thinking depositions. I can't even fathom this getting to court. Holy macaroni would that be spectacular!

I hope they call their bluff.

POLITICS:  Ginni Thomas Exchanged Dozens Of Texts Urging Top Trump Aide To Overturn 2020 Election

Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, sent nearly two dozen text messages urging former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to aggressively move to overturn the 2020 presidential election, according to copies of the missives obtained Thursday by The Washington Post and CBS News.

Ginni Thomas sent the messages over a three-month period, from November 2020 to January 2021, adding new detail to her efforts to fiercely support then-President Donald Trump after his election loss to Democrat Joe Biden, all while espousing conspiracy theories about a stolen election.

“Help This Great President stand firm, Mark!!! ...You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice,” she wrote in one of the messages to Meadows on Nov. 10, shortly after Biden was projected to defeat Donald Trump. “The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.”

The Post and CBS note the texts, 29 in total, do not directly reference her husband’s work on the Supreme Court. But they show the extreme influence she wields in the capital and underscore her access as a major conservative activist embedded in Washington’s elite.

In the messages, Ginni Thomas repeatedly pressed Meadows to reverse the 2020 election results, touting conspiracy theories about voter fraud and right-wing falsehoods about Biden and his family members.

“Do not concede,” she wrote Meadows on Nov. 6, 2020. “It takes time for the army who is gathering for his back.”

A few days later, Meadows replied to another message: “I will stand firm. We will fight until there is no fight left. Our country is too precious to give up on. Thanks for all you do.”

Trucker Convoy Leader Says Truckers Are Peeing Their Pants In D.C. Traffic

(When they said they’d be livestreaming, this isn’t what they had in mind.)

The remaining truckers in Washington, D.C., who gathered for a “convoy” earlier this month are apparently having trouble finding places to relieve themselves as they circle the D.C. Beltway.

So much so that they’re peeing their pants with some regularity.

“Truckers speaking with [People’s Convoy co-organizer Ron] Coleman say that other truckers haven’t been able to ‘go to the bathroom’ while circling the Beltway,” Daily Beast reporter Zachary Petrizzo relayed via Twitter, “which has left ‘people having actually pissed their pants!’”

What’s more, Petrizzo says, the truckers believe the ultimate blame for their predicament lies with Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser and the D.C. Metropolitan Police — and so, they’ve mulled over making “citizen’s arrests” of Bowser and police officers in response.

Rep. Mo Brooks Says Trump Is 'Still' Demanding That The 2020 Election Be 'Rescinded'

Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) was on the attack against Donald Trump again Thursday, insisting that the former president is “still” demanding that the 2020 election be “rescinded.”

It wasn’t clear if Brooks was saying he had just recently been told that yet again by Trump — or if he meant that Trump was continuing to demand that others carry out the unconstitutional action.

Trump announced Wednesday that he was withdrawing his endorsement of Brooks in his Alabama Senate race because the lawmaker had stopped calling for tossing out Joe Biden’s presidential victory. Not defying the election results made Brooks “woke,” the former president claimed in a widely mocked statement.

That’s when Brooks first said that Trump had repeatedly pushed him to somehow “rescind” the presidential election and keep him in the White House.

Brooks said Thursday on CBS affiliate WIAT-TV in Birmingham that Trump “always brings up ‘We got to rescind the election. We got to take Joe Biden out and put me in now.’”

(Reality for some is inconvenient and to be ignored)

scrolling down, I found this tidbit:

"Some of the truckers interviewed, said they kind of liked it, and intended to continue the pant pissing after returning home, and possibly trying in other situations, such as grocery shopping, at the office, and going to the bar."

"its a big time saver as well" added one of the truckers.

Donald Trump, when asked about the practise, said he had had great success with it for many years, and recommended it highly. "Those are my people, great patriots" he said.

Just another day in murica.

Another rant about certain members of the press.

Stop saying:

'HardCoreBlue once again rattles people with his controversial views'.

'HardCoreBlue doesn't follow the rules'.

"HardcoreBlue shares his unpopular stance with (fill in blank)'.

Start saying:

'HardCoreBlue is a buffoon who should be ignored but isn't and we are here to expose why'.
