Donald Trump Mansplains To Letitia James How To Do Her Job After She Sues Him

Donald Trump on Thursday told New York Attorney General Letitia James how to do her job after she sued the ex-president and his three eldest children for allegedly wrongly valuing assets to cheat lenders and tax officials. James called the scope of fraud “astounding.” (Watch below.)

The former president, in friendly territory with Sean Hannity on Fox News for part two of an interview, made a wild segue from claiming he intimidated the Taliban to attacking James. He said crime in New York has been “the worst we’ve ever had.” (NYPD stats show homicides are down 13% from the previous year, while rapes, robberies and assaults are up.)
“Letitia James, she should focus on murder and crime in New York, where they walk into stores with axes and they start swinging the axes at people,” Trump said, perhaps referring to a man who destroyed furniture at a Manhattan McDonald’s last week with a hatchet.

“That’s where she ought to be focused, not on how much is Mar-a-Lago worth,” he continued.

James’ pursuit of Trump’s alleged scamming appears to fall squarely within her jurisdiction.

“The Attorney General’s Office is charged with the statutory and common law powers to protect consumers and investors, charitable donors, the public health and environment, civil rights, and the rights of wage-earners and businesses across the State,” the AG’s website says.

Trump judge backtracks after court rebuke — legal experts say it may sink his chance to appeal

District Judge Aileen Cannon on Thursday struck portions of her special master ruling barring the Justice Department from investigating former President Donald Trump just hours after the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ripped apart her decision to halt the criminal probe.

The three-judge panel — which included two Trump appointees — said Cannon, a fellow Trump-appointee, "abused" her discretion by barring the DOJ from continuing to investigate the classified documents seized from Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and allowed investigators to resume their probe.

"For our part, we cannot discern why Plaintiff would have an individual interest in or need for any of the one-hundred documents with classification markings," the panel said. "Classified documents are marked to show they are classified, for instance, with their classification level."
Cannon on Thursday issued a revised order stating that the special master in the case would review all documents "except the approximately one-hundred documents bearing classification markings." She also struck two portions from her original order preventing the DOJ from probing the classified documents during the special master review and requiring them to disclose the materials to the special master.

GOP Releases ‘Commitment to America’ Promo Using Russian and Ukrainian Stock Footage

Nothing promotes one’s “Commitment to America” quite like a promotional video that’s full of stock footage from Russia and Ukraine.

At least, that must’ve been the thinking of some Republican congressmen who released a video Friday that features a Russian oil rig and Ukrainian field workers as a narrator says, “we celebrate the rich heritage of the American story.” Another one of the clips found to be from Russia was that of a boy running in a field with a toy airplane as the words, “liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” appeared at the bottom of the screen. The gaffe was first reported by HuffPost, which compared scenes from the video with publicly purchasable photos on Shutterstock's website. Among the congressmen to share the video was Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), who posted it to YouTube. “Interesting how you guys aren’t remotely interested on the issues facing the American people in the video,” responded a McCarthy spokesman, Mark Bednar, when pressed by HuffPost on the video.

Trump Declares Himself Second Only to Jesus

Donald Trump is one of the few people on earth narcissistic enough and arrogant enough (redundant?) to be comfortable with declarations that he’s close to a deity, if not fully worthy of worship. Not only is Trump “comfortable” with such memes, but Trump also wants more people to see them. It isn’t enough to enjoy such comparisons. He has to share them with as many people as possible, as he did this week.

From The Insider:

Former President Donald Trump shared a post on his Truth Social account on Friday, declaring him as “second” only to Jesus. The post by Truth Social user @austinnegrete said: “Jesus is the Greatest. President @realDonaldTrump is the second greatest.”

It accompanied an image of a painting of Jesus by artist Dan Wilson. Trump “ReTruthed,” or reposted, the Jesus comparison to his 4.1 million Truth Social followers.

Trump Mentally Collapses And Claims Every Investigation Is A Conspiracy

Trump is trying to rationalize his entire life collapsing under the weight of investigations by claiming they are all a conspiracy against him.

Trump wrote on Truth Social:  This is a giant Scam, a sick continuation of the Greatest Witch Hunt in U.S. History. A complete Weaponization of the Justice Department & FBI, and includes Democrat D.A.’s & A.G.’s. Controlled by the same people that brought you Russia, Russia, Russia, Mueller, Impeachment Hoax 1, Impeachment Hoax 2, and more. The American people will not stand for “Weaponization” any longer!

The investigations are all separate and independent, but the only that Donald Trump can package them and dismiss them to his followers is to claim that they are all part of a vast conspiracy.

It isn’t that Trump is a criminal. It’s that everyone is out to get Donald Trump. The investigation and lawsuit in New York for financial crimes and fraud have nothing to do with the investigation in Fulton County, which is centered on Trump’s potential violations of Georgia election law, which has nothing to do with Trump’s potential mishandling of classified documents that are being investigated by the Justice Department, which has nothing to do with Trump’s potential crimes when he tried to overthrow the government.

The investigations aren’t a witchhunt. They represent a pattern of criminality.

Trump is mentally collapsing because he could be facing financial ruin. Congress is getting set to pass legislation to block his potential avenues to a coup, and the classified documents case could result in criminal charges..

If New York comes after Trump for everything that is owed, he will be financially destroyed. Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen said that the state of New York could be looking to recover $750 million to $1 billion in penalties and fines

Cohen said when asked if the New York case against Trump will go to trial:

"They had opportunities to settle.  We don’t know what the facts behind that t are. However, the 250 million pursuant to the 200-page indictment by — — just our unshakable attorney general is the base that she is looking for. That’s not the ceiling. We’re talking about anywhere, in about anywhere my estimation based upon the documents that I know the attorney general has, I  suspect are probably looking at somewhere between 750 million to one billion dollars in penalties and fines."

Cohen pointed out that these are financial and tax crimes that Trump has potentially committed and the numbers don’t lie, so unlike other cases against Trump where it is his word against someone else’s, the problem here is a mountain of written evidence and documents laying out the fraud that was committed.

If New York tries to recover a billion dollars against Trump, it will financially ruin the former president, his family, and his business.

Trump has an estimated $900 million in loans that are coming due from 2022-2024. His businesses have been failing for years, as his main source of revenue was fundraising, and when he was president, grifting off of the taxpayers and using his position to make money.

If New York comes after Trump for everything that is owed, he will be financially destroyed.

'We have incredible things': Trump surprised NYT reporter last year by boasting he kept White House docs

Former President Donald Trump surprised New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman by casually mentioning that he had kept White House documents after leaving office.

The New York Times reporter revealed in her forthcoming book, “Confidence Man: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breaking of America,” that the former president told her Sept. 16, 2021, at his club in Bedminster, New Jersey, that he mentioned that he had held onto some government records that should have been sent to the National Archives, according to excerpts published by Axios.
“He demurred when I asked if he had taken any documents of note upon departing the White House — ‘nothing of great urgency, no,’ he said, before mentioning the letters that Kim Jong-un had sent him, which he had showed off to so many Oval Office visitors that advisers were concerned he was being careless with sensitive material,” Haberman reported.

Haberman expressed surprise that he took those letters, which he eventually returned months later after the National Archives demanded them.

“He kept talking, seeming to have registered my surprise, and said, ‘No, I think that’s in the archives, but … Most of it is in the archives, but the Kim Jong-un letters … We have incredible things,'” Haberman wrote.

The FBI searched Trump’s home last month at Mar-a-Lago, where they seized more than 11,000 documents and 1,800 other items, including about 100 classified materials — including some marked “top secret,” and the search warrant shows investigators believe he may have violated the Espionage Act and other laws.

Law applies same to everyone According to M Garland.

"Jonathan and Diana Toebbe of Annapolis, Maryland, pleaded guilty in federal court in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to one felony count each of conspiracy to communicate restricted data.

U.S. District Judge Gina Groh last month rejected the couple's initial pleas to the same charges, saying the sentencing options were “strikingly deficient” considering the seriousness of the case. The couple then immediately withdrew their initial guilty pleas and Groh set trial for January.

The previous sentencing range agreed to by lawyers for Jonathan Toebbe had called for a potential punishment between roughly 12 years and 17 years in prison"

judge said sentence was too low.

It has finally emerged:

'Shoot To Kill': Trump Ally Roger Stone Calls For Violence In Chilling Video

Roger Stone, a longtime ally of Donald Trump, told a documentary crew a day before the 2020 election that he was ready for violence.

“**** the voting, let’s get right to the violence,” he’s heard saying in footage obtained by CNN from filmmakers Christoffer Guldbrandsen and Frederik Marbell. “Shoot to kill. See an antifa? Shoot to kill. **** ’em. Done with this bullshit.”
Clips from the documentary, “A Storm Foretold,” are expected to be featured during this week’s hearing by the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6 assault on the U.S. Capitol carried out by Trump supporters. The film is set for release later this year.

The Washington Post said Stone followed up his call to violence with an “only kidding.”

“We renounce violence completely,” he said. “We totally renounce violence. The left is the only ones who engage in violence.”

The filmmakers told CNN’s Don Lemon they found Stone’s backtracking insincere and said it was done with “more of a wink and a nod.”

Donald Trump Jr. Caught In Coup Conspiracy With Roger Stone:  Phone records reveal that Roger Stone was the go-between from the insurrectionists to Republicans like Donald Trump Jr.

The Guardian reported on Denver Riggleman’s book:

The select committee was able to construct a detailed map of Stone’s contacts after obtaining the call detail records of Kristin Davis, also known as the Manhattan Madam, who was with Stone at the Willard hotel in Washington DC on the day before and the day of the Capitol attack.

And after investigators identified Stone’s number, the book says, they compiled an intriguing map: Stone called Tarrio both before and after January 6, and he called the former Oath Keepers chief Stewart Rhodes nine days after the riot. Both have since been charged with seditious conspiracy.

The number for Stone also connected to a number of prominent Republicans that the January 6 committee believes played different roles in Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election results, including the Texas attorney general, Ken Paxton, and Arthur Schwartz, an aide to Donald Trump Jr, Trump’s eldest son.

Roger Stone was Trump’s middle-man during the 2016 election between Julian Assange and the Trump campaign, so Trump being a person of no new tricks, appears to have used Stone again to try to help him overturn the election.

Stone is involved up to his eyeballs in 1/6 and part of the next 1/6 Committee hearing will reportedly reveal new details about his involvement in the Capitol attack and the plot to overturn the election.

Donald Trump Jr’s name has been floating around the edges of the conspiracy, but as the threads are pulled together, it appears that Trump’s family was involved in the plot to overthrow the government and keep Donald Trump in power after losing the 2020 election.

Be grateful you are not living int he US. Several couples and friend who used to snowbird have not gone south for several years due to the miasma that Donald Trump and his ilk created there and has not left.
