FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 18, 2016 Report Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) Time: Saturday 6PM The Story So Far: Jets looking for rebound win. in game 2 of 5 in the longest road trip of the year. Quote of the Day: You can't have a conscience in the pimp game - Mark Wahlberg, Boston native. Edited November 24, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg
bustamente Posted November 18, 2016 Report Posted November 18, 2016 Bruins just lost with a minute left against the Wild they'll be ready, Jets needs redemption from earlier in the year.
BomberBall Posted November 18, 2016 Report Posted November 18, 2016 I'm going to be in Boston for the game, so I hope the boys bring their A game. HardCoreBlue 1
kelownabomberfan Posted November 18, 2016 Report Posted November 18, 2016 I hope the Jets avenge the loss to the Bruins earlier this year. I was at that game and it was kind of a stinker.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 19, 2016 Author Report Posted November 19, 2016 Looks like Hutch to start. Let the battle begin again.

iHeart Posted November 19, 2016 Report Posted November 19, 2016 well I hope they win tonight, the last thing they need is to be swept by my least favourite team in the NHL. Seriously though the last time the Jets were swept by the Bruins, they were still the Atlanta Thrashers
FrostyWinnipeg Posted November 20, 2016 Author Report Posted November 20, 2016 (edited) 1st Period 0-0 2nd Period Lazy slap to get puck out leads to 0-1 Boston lead. Stat of the night - Jets near/at bottom of league in faceoffs. That not look good 0-2. 5 on 3 leads to 3rd goal 0-3. 3rd Period 0-4 Makes u long for Pav and Stafford. Possible game low for shots coming up. Lowry breaks the goose egg 1-4. Edited November 20, 2016 by FrostyWinnipeg
Goalie Posted November 20, 2016 Report Posted November 20, 2016 (edited) I would say the stat of the game is 8 shots on goal through 2 periods Edited November 20, 2016 by Goalie FrostyWinnipeg 1
IC Khari Posted November 20, 2016 Report Posted November 20, 2016 We have subpar goaltending and the youth are still a bit too green to be effective long term. We need Little and Myers back ASAP and maybe we should bring Comrie up for a stint to see what he can do. Hutch is not an NHL goalie right now ...
bustamente Posted November 20, 2016 Report Posted November 20, 2016 This road trip looks similar to a road trip from last year where we lost all 4 games, need to beat Carolina tomorrow.

In a game where we are out shot 38 12 and had 7 or 8 shots through 2 periods? Hutch was pretty Damn good today. You know who wasn't? The rest of the team... the worst one might have been Buff Edited November 20, 2016 by Goalie
bustamente Posted November 20, 2016 Report Posted November 20, 2016 Hutch not to blame for tonight, his teammates did not show up tonight and tomorrow will be a difficult game for them as well. Buff defensively make you go wow and not in a good way, Trouba and Morrissey on the other hand have both played well, even tonight they were the best of the worst. Goalie 1

He did not play well, looked disinterested almost, skating in mud. Patrik laine's defensive game needs work, but hey he's only like 12 so that should improve. I'll state the obvious, to make the playoff's we have to limit consecutive losses in a row. Stop the bleeding now against the Canes who btw have won 2 in a row.
