One of 3 options:

 

1)  legitimately we traded Buck for a usefull Cdn receiver straight up

 

2)  There is something else thrown in from the Bombers to get this deal done.

 

3)  Buono hates Foster so much that he would rather have Buck.

It's a good day to be a bomber fan. The RoughRider's get whooped in the banjo bowl and Buck Pierce gets traded for a non-import. This is weird though, why would the Lions give up ANYTHING for Buck Pierce?

Walters is doing his best to make a push for that full-time gig and quite honestly, the idea that he was able to turn Buck Pierce into a return greater than an old football and a tackling sled is making me think he might just be able to do it.

Setting up to be quite interesting who we protect going into the expansion draft .. (I really like our NI receiver depth right now) .. and how we got anything more than a roll of athletic tape for Pierce is beyond me.
