Atomic Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 1 minute ago, Floyd said: 3-2 Blues on an OT softie 4-2 Jets, goals from Wheeler, Ehlers, Little and Matthias.
Ducky Posted January 20, 2017 Report Posted January 20, 2017 Postma, Scheif, Lowry, Little and Trouba. EN by Laine from the booth (Armia).
Goalie Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 4-2 Blues. Jets struggle with st louis D zone coverage and end up with about 22 shots on goal. Pavelec lets in 4 soft goals and makes 1 spectacular save and the post game narrative is how amazing pavelec was.

Rich Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 One of these teams decides not to dress their starting goaltender because he is struggling. Jake Allen not travelling with the Blues Noeller 1
Goalie Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) Lol. Really? Last time he played in Winnipeg was last week in a 4 2 Chicago Wolves win over the Moose. Interesting. This gives me some hope but the Jets are definitely known for making AHL goalies look like superstars when they play against them. Fun fact: Copley is from North Pole Alaska (just outside Fairbanks ) Edited January 21, 2017 by Goalie

So the goalies from last week's AHL game are playing against each other in the NHL this week in the same building?

Comrie played in that game, a Moose 4-2 loss (EN goal). Pavs played the other one that weekend and got the W while stopping 43 of 44. Edited January 21, 2017 by Ducky
HardCoreBlue Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 2-0 Jets Pav with a shutout Ducky 1
iHeart Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 whoops I guess I forgot about the friendly reminder that the game starts at 2 pm today and hopefully Patrik will be back on monday and good in time for the all-star weekend next week
iHeart Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 and the blues Goalie is playing his first NHL game ever this will be fun
Ducky Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 he played 24 minutes in a game last season..........stopped 5 of 6. A good team would get on him fast and pepper him with shots and traffic in front of him.

The Unknown Poster Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 Why didn't Pavs stop that with his paddle like last game?
Ducky Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 Nice stick by Armia but he was about 12 inches low and it should have been a two-hander.
Goalie Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 (edited) Jets dominated for the most part... 8 4 shots on goal. 1-1 after 1. Really need to fix the PK. That was way to easy for St Louis. Very passive PK. It's actually crazy how passive the PK is. And the PP also... I realize they scored but... gotta capitalize more on the PP. Stafford getting a bunch of chances to score but no Bueno... hurry back Patrik Edited January 21, 2017 by Goalie
Floyd Posted January 21, 2017 Report Posted January 21, 2017 Sure would be nice to see Copp-Petan-Armia again... Enstrom really in tough this year. Is ehlers seeing any powerplay time? Jets always motivated against the Blues... would love to watch them in a playoff series
