True.  Perreault was playing hard and hustling awhile before the points started coming.  He's been playing like the guy that earned that contract.

Well the contract was after a near 20/g season which is about right but he's been 10g/season since then. That makes him overpaid now.

He's been fairly consistent.  18 goals and 43 points with the Ducks, then 18 goals and 41 points with the Jets.  Even his down year last year where he only had 9 goals, he still had 41 points, right on pace.

His pace this season would have been finish with 12 goals and 45 points if he played all 82 games (which he wont ofcourse).  So, his goal scoring is down a bit but he's maintaining his point production.

And he's 3G, 9pts in his last 5 (I believe).  Small sample size but he seems to have returned to form.

Lol. Maurice goes long b4 Chevy and ppl can pretend fan pressure this or that... it means nothing. The Jets aren't gonna be making moves just to keep a vocal minority who tend to complain about everything happy... that might have worked for bomber teams in the past but it won't work for the Jets. First the media need to start asking questions... they won't tho. Besides what do you want him to do? Sign FA's who have better options than Winnipeg?  I like it here but I could see why millionaires with families might not have Winnipeg as an option 2 come 2.

It's funny cuz most people with realistic expectations at the start of the year had them fighting for a wild card spot... they beat st Louis Friday and they are 3 points behind them. Will they make the playoffs? Probably not but a win Friday starts to make you go hmm

Any other team and this tandem are lucky to be still around...one playoff in 6 years and no playoff wins? Unacceptable in most market. Chevy has made some great drafts and one really good trade but we are starting to look a little like the Oilers of recent history...lots of promise no results...Chevy has made some questionable hires as coach and signed some players to long term contracts that have hurt us. Losing Ladd for nothing right now has hurt us as well. Yep Chipman loves Chevy but if we go 2 more years and still no playoffs I don't see how Chevy survives....

Seriously?  Where did you see that?

Was not part of line rushes so 4th line is Dano, Copp, Thorbs.

Not surprised. Dano needs to get back in and Reeves will dress hence Thorbs will dress.

Except Reaves actually takes a regular fourth line shift... he'll play more than twice the minutes Thorburn does.

Im going to ignore all the depth chart chatter because trying to find logic in Maurice's lineup is like trying to find logic in anything Trump does.

Hey, at least Winnipeg has a more recent Cup win than St.Louis.
