JCon Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) That Calvillo guy was pretty good. I might give him a vote. And, Simon seems like a no-brainer. How many can get in each year? Edited March 16, 2017 by JCon wbbfan 1

How many can get in each year? apparently no less then 5 but no more then 7 Was reading up on Ernie Pitts (long before my time) he seems like a good posthumous selection, appearing in 6 GCs with the bombers winning 4 , 5x west all star. crazy his estranged wife killed him in a domestic dispute JCon 1
bigg jay Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Dave Ritchie should go in for his quotes alone! Mr Dee and wbbfan 2
Taynted_Fayth Posted March 16, 2017 Author Report Posted March 16, 2017 of my picks on there, because I've really only been following the CFL for about 16 years I might be a little biased based on players I've actually watched, but my 5-7 would be; AC, Simon, Chui, Johnson, Miles, Pitts, Prefontaine
johnzo Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 My votes: Calvillo, Osbaldiston, O'Shea, Simon, Fernandez, Greer Four CFL all-time greats with long and distinguished careers plus two of the most dominant receivers of the eighties. Noeller 1
17to85 Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 wow there are some damned good players on that list JCon, wbbfan, SPuDS and 2 others 5

Atomic Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 My short list: Korey Banks, Arland Bruce, Anthony Calvillo, Jason Clermont, Scott Flory, Terry Greer, Brent Johnson, Mike O'Shea, Byron Parker, Ernie Pitts, Geroy Simon, Barrin Simpson, Orlondo Steinauer, Anwar Stewart, **** Thornton
JohnnyOnTheSpot Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 Calvillo, Simon and Bruce for O. Barrin Simpson for D. Hank Ilesic for special teams (hammering Hank or Hank the shank depending on who you talk to). I thought Lovell Coleman would be already in, an outstanding player of his era.
sweep the leg Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 (edited) This list is really surprising to me. How aren't Chris Schultz, Mike O'Shea, Terry Greer, & Mervyn Fernandez already in the HOF? Short(ish) CFL careers for Greer & Fernandez I suppose, but they're some of the first names I remember as stars in the CFL when I started watching football as a kid. Jimmy Pop Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 I remember Kelvin Anderson well from the 90's - 8 consecutive 1000 yd rushing seasons.

WBBFanWest Posted March 20, 2017 Report Posted March 20, 2017 Personally I'm surprised that GBill has been overlooked yet again. I'm calling on the CFLHoF to award him the "Greatest scooper in the whole universe" award and then immediately retire that category. Noeller and bigg jay 2
