M.O.A.B. Posted August 3, 2017 Author Report Posted August 3, 2017 (edited) Flanders will play... NICE! Dressler on 6-game. YIKES! Edited August 3, 2017 by M.O.A.B. SPuDS 1
sweep the leg Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Flanders must be dressing. I don't see any other scenario that makes sense. blue_gold_84, rebusrankin and SPuDS 2 1
Blueandgold Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 That receiving core sans Dressler isn't intimidating whatsoever. This might be the game to try Harris & Flanders together. Tracker and SPuDS 1 1
Atomic Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Sure looks like Flanders plays. Pretty excited for that. The receiving corps has a lot to prove but I know all 5 of those guys are very capable. I think we've just scratched the surface of what TJ Thorpe can do. Mark F, SPuDS, Sard and 2 others 2 3
rebusrankin Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Dressler in on the 6. Son of a ............ SPuDS 1
BomberBall Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Let's hope nobody goes down at receiver; very thin there. Excited to see Flanders get a shot. I hope Lapo has installed a few plays with both him and Harris on the field. SPuDS 1

Noeller Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 While he didn't go into details (obviously), it was interesting that Bauming had tweeted earlier this week that the Bombers were doing some interesting and creative things on offense during practice this week. Wonder if that has to do with Flanders packages, maybe... rebusrankin, SPuDS and Fred C Dobbs 2 1
BBlink Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 I'm still optimistic about our offense given how Lankford and Thorpe played when they had to step up last week. SPuDS, Harbaugh, rebusrankin and 1 other 4
rebusrankin Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 So Foketi and Alexander are the two man reserve this week?

This might be the game to try Harris & Flanders together. And that's the key to surprising the RedBlacks with our unassuming lineup of receivers. It would be a good time to break out the Offensive package that has us spreading the ball around and featuring our weapons like Flanders and Harris. This has the hallmarks of being a very exciting game.. SPuDS 1
Blueandgold Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 (edited) This game is also a good opportunity for Nichols to quiet the naysayers who refer to him as a "game manager" and "caretaker". When Nichols took over last year, we had Denmark and a bunch of scrubs out there and we were still winning game after game. It's nice to know that we can still win despite major injuries. If he goes out there and gets us a another win without Dress, there won't be much anyone can say to discount him anymore. Edited August 3, 2017 by Blueandgold Atomic and SPuDS 2
Fan Boy Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 I am just happy to see the almighty 31 defensive playmaker out there. I hope he can perform to his standard. Fred C Dobbs and SPuDS 2
Arnold_Palmer Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Denmark and Adams will have to step up, hope Thorpe and Lankford can continue on their good play from last game. Perfect opportunity to shine for these guys. SPuDS 1

Mr Dee Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 A day in the life of a D-lineman “Coach (Todd) Howard came over and he was like ‘Welcome to the club. You’re finally part of the D-line, you got your first dislocated finger,’” Corney said after practice. “Then he showed me his fingers and they were all mangled and stuff. He impressed his teammates by immediately returning to practice after the finger was restored to its proper position and even drew huge cheers for his effort. “Trent, Trent, Trent, Trent,” the players chanted as he ran back onto the field and prepared for the weekly sled-throwing contest. http://www.winnipegsun.com/2017/08/02/blue-bombers-corney-dislocates-finger-at-practice?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+feedrinse%2FRWsG+(Blue+Bombers+Channel) rebusrankin, SPuDS, Noeller and 1 other 3 1

I am surprised it's everyone, but Ottawa's offense, is what, 1st or 2nd in the league, and our defense is, well..... not. So I'm not completely shocked. Edited August 3, 2017 by BomberBall
M.O.A.B. Posted August 3, 2017 Author Report Posted August 3, 2017 Time for the Bomber's D to show up and shut RedBlacks O. Bombers O can score points they proven that. SPuDS 1

Ya I saw this and was quite taken aback. not one pundit is giving us some love.. time to prove the doubters wrong (though, maybe they knew Dressler was out and are basing this on that? *shrug*) bulletin board material.

rebusrankin Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 Anybody else worried that they still don't activate Flanders? I mean logic says play Flanders but my fear is they don't in order to keep Jovon Santos-Knox on the roster for teams or Alexander for secondary depth even though he's hurt.
