For example, I used to look forward to Ed Tait's training camp reports with my coffee during lunch break. Stuff like that is just not happening anymore. Well you can read Ed Tait's articles with your coffee on your tablet from the Blue Bomber website or from their app.

Still enjoyable though.
Fan Boy Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 I see the same gentle criticism I saw before but I may not be as discerning (FanBoy thing and all that). Noeller 1

The great thing about Ed's writing is that the critique is/was usually subtle and factual. bearpants, Noeller and SPuDS 2 1
Noeller Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 Tait's pieces for WBB are exactly the same as they were for the WFP........it's all about tone. He's never carried a negative tone for the sake of being negative. SPuDS 1
Mr Dee Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 Tait calls a fumble a fumble, a mistake a mistake, systematic offence problems when they occur and maybe a word on talent depth. He does not question LaPolice's brain activity, nor Hall getting bent out of shape, nor a smirk on any individual on the team. He can write about the team on many facets because he can write. He's got imagination, knows a lot about football, and doesn't allow himself to get cornered to any one area of a total team function. He's heard the question, and the answers, but doesn't take everything at face value...because he can think. How many times have we said or written that we are lipucky to have him? Well, here's one more... BigBlueFanatic, blue_gold_84, SPuDS and 2 others 4 1

Well, here's one more... hes probably the best at what he does here in Winnipeg, no doubt.. its almost a shame he is the bomber's mouthpiece now tho and not writing for a media outlet now as hes often the only voice of reason amid all the pessimistic and antagonistic sports writing going on as of late.
17to85 Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 shocking thought, but maybe Tait is less critical now because with a team winning games there is just less to be critical of? BigBlueFanatic and Noeller 2

I miss Grumpy. Where did he go? Being a mod on Our Bombers after the exodus must've have been too much for him.

There used to be things like position by position analysis, especially during the Berry era. The sort of thing we get from JBR once in a while. Atomic 1
do or die Posted August 9, 2017 Report Posted August 9, 2017 Tait is a very competent writer. Which is in short supply, round the rest of the football media. SPuDS 1

There are two or three posters on this site that easily demonstrate that your argument is not valid. Mark H., Noeller, SPuDS and 1 other 3 1
