Mr Dee Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) BC @ SASKATCHEWAN ??Marks the return of Area 51's brother with BC (Ricky Foley) Ian Hamilton- When the Roughriders fall behind, they tend to abandon the running game and opponents then can get after quarterback Kevin Glenn. Kevin Glenn starts. Glenn had his lowest output of the regular season in that loss — he threw for 186 yards, albeit with a completion percentage of 70.4 — but he was under duress for much of the game thanks to the Lions’ defensive line. ?? Jonathon Jennings starts for BC I. Hamilton- The Riders are not getting to opposing quarterbacks enough. Rookie Tobi Antigha is second to Jefferson with two sacks and Antigha and A.C. Leonard are tied for second with six pressures apiece. Saskatchewan entered Week 8 ranked seventh in the league with 11 sacks and ninth in the CFL with 31 pressures. ?? Dan Clark out at centre. LaBatte fills in, with T Dennis moving to guard, and Bruce (better late than never) Campbell comes off the reserve list to play tackle. This alone should be worth a look. ?? BC, who easily beat Sask. last week, relied on 5 FG attempts...with 4 being made. CFL.ca Staff By The Numbers 3 – Touchdowns for Duron Carter in the Riders past two games. 4 – Minimum catches that Riders receiver Bakari Grant has made each game. He is only one of three players (Winnipeg’s Darvin Adams and Toronto’s Anthony Coombs) that has four of more catches in every game this season. 10 – Number of rushing touchdowns that Travis Lulay and Jeremiah Johnson have combined for this season. They have five touchdowns apiece. 51 – League leading tackles for Solomon Elimimian heading into Week 8. ?? The Riders have played well at home so far this year (2-1). Can they prevail today? I doubt it. 71% of polled fans say Lions win. 6/7 CFL writers say Lions win. Edited August 14, 2017 by Mr Dee Fatty Liver and Al Bundy 2
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 I sincerely hope the mustache riders lose 101-0
Taynted_Fayth Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 same as last week, bombers put themselves in a good position regardless of who wins tonight. Damn it feels good that we don`t have to rely on others mistakes to benefit our own destiny. And like last week I hope the lions embarrass the sweet piss out of the riders and sends their fans into an even deeper bout of depression as their season swirls in the toilet rebusrankin, Mr Dee and BigBlueFanatic 3
Atomic Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 I'd like to leapfrog the Lions here but I hate seeing the Riders win.... so.... go Lions. rebusrankin 1
rebusrankin Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) The Riders are starting this guy at tackle? Edited August 13, 2017 by rebusrankin Mark F 1
Arnold_Palmer Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 it doesn't matter who the Riders play I always want them to lose, hopefully in embarrassing fashion rebusrankin and Bubba Zanetti 2
SpeedFlex27 Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 I've heard they've moved Derek Dennis to guard. Is that true? Next move, off the roster. I hate the Riders more than the Lions. So, any day the Riders lose is a good day. Might as well put them in major chase mode for the rest of the season thereby putting the heat on Jones. I think it's obvious there'll be 4 Western teams in the playoffs with one of them being the crossover. rebusrankin 1
Taynted_Fayth Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 the way I see it, we have 2 more games against the lions (both at IGF) that is when we will leap frog them by taking the series 2-1. For tonight putting ourselves 6 points up on the riders is more important to ensuring we get no worse then 4th in the west. Lots of football left in the season but the deeper the riders hole the better imo Atomic, Booch and rebusrankin 3
rebusrankin Posted August 13, 2017 Report Posted August 13, 2017 I feel like the answer is pretty much always cheer against the Riders. Taynted_Fayth, bearpants, Rich and 3 others 6
Arnold_Palmer Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Someone should tell Jennings he doesn't need to throw it 40 yards down field every play. Brandon 1
Brandon Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 So Jennings is just going to toss random long bombs all night? I would think to shake off the rust they would run some high % plays to get him back in the game?
Mr. Perfect Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Jon Jennings. A slightly better Michael Bishop. Goalie, SPuDS, blue_gold_84 and 1 other 4
Goalie Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Jennings showing why hes not even close to being elite. Mark F 1

rebusrankin Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Wow, BC looks terrible. blue_gold_84 1
Fatty Liver Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Yank Wally, yank. Lulay will stop this quickly.
Goalie Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) Jennings Sucks. Sask isnt this good.. They are actually really bad... BC just.. Night and Day from when Lulay played... Intangibles maaan Edited August 14, 2017 by Goalie
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 (edited) Holy s**t Jennings. Get him the hell out of there already. Both those INT's were gimmies. Just horrible throws. Edited August 14, 2017 by Bubba Zanetti Goalie 1
Arnold_Palmer Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 I know TSN likes to hype Jennings but give me a Matt Nichols all day. No INT's in the last three games, while Jennings has two on his first three possessions. Winning the turn over battle is everything. bearpants 1
Goalie Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Jennings literally has **** for brains. The guy is a stupid idiot. Mr. Perfect 1
Goalie Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Just now, Atomic said: The Riders are really kicking ass Lil bit.. Helps that the BC QB is playing like complete crap.
rebusrankin Posted August 14, 2017 Report Posted August 14, 2017 Well either BC loses and we're in third or the Riders suffer an epic loss, so win-win. Personally regretting taking Jennings this week in Fantasy. bearpants 1
