Goalie Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 Poop took a couple penalties last game but... We will see i guess.
Mark F Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 Maybe it's cause the montreal Offence didn't have much trouble with the Bomber defence last game.
Atomic Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 I don't think it is necessarily anything Johnson did. It's just that Okpalaugo is healthy and someone has to come out. In one of those weird quirks of the ratio, Johnson was competing with Flanders to stay on the roster and Flanders won. Mark F and Mr Dee 2
blueingreenland Posted August 24, 2017 Report Posted August 24, 2017 Oh, there's that "invisible" Denmark making the catch again...this time for a TD!! blue_gold_84 1
Mark H. Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Als D still got game - Als running attack amping up again.
Brandon Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Throw the ball down the field Lapo... also can we not cover 10 yard passes?
bustamente Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 This team is going to give me a coronary, Randle comes through and Medlock is money but the D needs to find a MLB. BomberBall and GCJenks 2
do or die Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Huge win, but we are still short 2-3 guys in the back 7. Hurl/Knox at LB not good enough.....and revolving door of rooks learning under fire in the DB GCJenks 1
ALuCsRED Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 (edited) How can TSN not have cameras on both sides of the end zone? The angles for the possible fumble on Montreal's overtime TD was horrible. I think it may have been a fumble. Edited August 25, 2017 by ALuCsRED Sard, WildPath and GCJenks 2 1
do or die Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 It was like we didn't know that Durant would look for Lewis.... Brandon, WildPath and Logan007 3
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Yikes! What a grind. Lapo calls a freakin' Picasso last week, then reverts back to his 5 yard crossers on 2nd and 9 comfort zone. But a win is a win! Good teams find ways. 5 in a row baby! GCJenks, blue_gold_84 and Logan007 3
Goalie Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Montreal always plays us tough and did beat Calgary this year. But overall... Thought our O wasnt that good. D with several turnovers helped out. blue_gold_84 and GCJenks 2
WildPath Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Could not stand the TSN coverage tonight. Seemed like they just came up short of having an iso camera on Nik Lewis all night. Wish I woulda been setup to listen to CJOB instead of TSN. All bloody night Nik Lewis Goalie, Sard and GCJenks 3
Brandon Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 I thought Durant looked like crap , I also was wondering why the Blue didn't go deep more often? A game that I'm glad they won and one that they should of won... but it was definitely not a great performance.

Did they even talk about the game? All I heard about was Nik Lewis' receptions, Andrew Harris' chance to get 1K-1K, and the Montreal/Winnipeg game several weeks ago. The Bombers got three hands to the face penalties and they didn't show a replay on any of them. They didn't have a good camera angle for the may-have-been-a-fumble TD. I expect very little of TSN these days, and yet somehow remain disappointed. Atomic, SpeedFlex27, WildPath and 4 others 6 1
Bubba Zanetti Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Yeah i was thinking the same thing. Other than Mincy theyve got a washed-up BStew and a bunch of no names in the secondary. Would have liked to have seen them go deep on some one on ones and let a guy like Adams go up and get it.
Mr. Perfect Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Ugly ball game tonight. Ugly win. That said I do believe the standings say 7-2 and they don't distinguish between sexy and ugly. Get better and onto the next shooting for 8-2. Dee Urban Hermit, Logan007, GCJenks and 1 other 4
Jpan85 Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Good teams win games they should not. blue_gold_84, Noeller and GCJenks 3

Exactly, How many close games has Calgary won against us/the rest of the league over the years? Montreal has a lot of vets they didn't play well last week and came out and brought their A game at home. The good teams win the close games. Edited August 25, 2017 by Arnold_Palmer basslicker 1

Our linebackers other than Leggett are terrible. All I ever see is the back of Hurl's jersey on every play. he is being outplayed out there every game. Our D is going to cost us a championship. Dee Urban Hermit Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 I don't know?... I certainly didn't expect a double overtime win... but I did call a 5 point Bomber win, Montreal has always been a thorn in the side...
do or die Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 Till CB's interception in overtime......our D couldn't hold a lead, and didn't make a single play down the stretch and in crunch time. But there is a difference between labor pains.....and seeing the baby - in this case a big two points on the road. Mark F 1
Goalie Posted August 25, 2017 Report Posted August 25, 2017 (edited) Edmonton in their 7 and 0 start won by an average of 5 points. I think its time people realize all teams are pretty equal... Even the Eastern ones except Hamilton. Our D forced 4 turnovers.. Yeah they gave up some big plays but they stepped up this game..Als were 3 and 1 at home now 3 and 2.. Their D is very good and kept them in it. Our O play calling was pretty brutal tonight tho... Nichols barely over 200 yards passing. Yet they never trailed in the game. Bombers were the better team tonight.. They deserved the win and got it. Edited August 25, 2017 by Goalie Mr Dee 1
