Mark F Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) hoping for argo win. 14 to 7 right now. R.Ray drops td pass in there beautifully. Mass contrite on eskimo radio pre game interview. Edited September 16, 2017 by Mark F
Mark F Posted September 16, 2017 Author Report Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) stupid highlight reel dive tackle miss by argo defender. kickers both wear 70. Bombers Blitz third most in league. eskimo coverage on field goal touchdown, some of those esks didn't look like they were trying all that hard to tackle him. time for melt down on sideline Edited September 16, 2017 by Mark F
Pete Catan's Ghost Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 James Wilder is a pleasure to watch. blue_gold_84 1
SpeedFlex27 Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 If Reilly didn't have great receivers to make circus catches for him he'd be nothing as a CFL qb. He just throws the ball up for them to make great catches. I respect his toughness but the more I watch him, especially this year he's not (in my mind) the great qb we make him out to be. Give Nichols that receiving corps & watch what he'd do. Bubba Zanetti, Blueandgold and Mark F 2 1
SpeedFlex27 Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 There he does it again. To Mitchell for 60 yards.
SpeedFlex27 Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 Second straight game blow to Reilly's head. No call. Still fun to see Maas go nuts. Argos win! kelownabomberfan 1
Tehedra Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 I don't believe that was a blow to his head; you watch it was chest first. The helmets maybe lightly touched but honestly that was more just because both of their bodies colliding and his going forwards as his body went backwards. I mean; I honestly believe the call on the field was correct myself and TSN is just going over board on that blow to the head thing
SpeedFlex27 Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 The no call on Reilly's shot to the head didn't lose this game for the Esks. Arg os RBJames Wilder's 257 yards from scrimmage did. Gotta call a spade a spade.

But I think they have to call that blow to Reilly.
MOBomberFan Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 Lame Offensive PI on Duke Williams and a non call on the Reilly head hit (it was for sure a head hit) perhaps robbed the Schmoes of a comeback win. Brutal for Edmonton. TBURGESS 1

SpeedFlex27 Posted September 16, 2017 Report Posted September 16, 2017 The Stamps receiving corps is absolutely decimated. Daniels out. Jordan out.

Mark F Posted September 16, 2017 Author Report Posted September 16, 2017 (edited) busted coverage B.C. sucks. Bombers can beat any of these teams. our qb is better than bc, edmonton, sask, montreal, hamilton, and maybe calgary too. best comment on this site this year was "dickinson looks like a wiener" Edited September 16, 2017 by Mark F bearpants 1

Noeller Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 As Bombers fans, do we have a dog in this BC/Cgy game? On one hand, keep BC back of us and let Cgy run away and hide. On the other, I believe Wpg can win the west so maybe bring the Stamps back to us a bit?

First round bye and home field advantage would be huge.
Mark F Posted September 17, 2017 Author Report Posted September 17, 2017 (edited) If the Bombers had even a middle of the pack defence, they would have a good shot at the Grey Cup. With "second" worst in the league D.... maybe not. (Hamilton worse points against than Wpg.) Edited September 17, 2017 by Mark F
Noeller Posted September 17, 2017 Report Posted September 17, 2017 Good thing we do have an okay (not great, but passable) D.... And we are absolutely GC contenders...

We don't play them till the very last week of the season. If they have first locked up then we play their B squad. that's 2 points we should be able to run away with
