iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 so far the stream has 42 likes and 49 dislikes, must be a bunch of pissed off Wingnut fans or they're reacting to the stream MOBomberFan 1
MOBomberFan Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Shuffle this off to General if you must, but as a semi-casual fan of The Fish, I had to give them some recognition... they are well on their way to a fourth Championship in 24 years tonight... after scoring 9 runs in the bottom of the 2nd to lead 9-0. Heading into bottom of the 3rd after a double play now... http://streema.com/radios/play/11079 Go Fish! SPuDS and mbrg 2

iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 12-0 okay who wants to place a bet on whether or not Pete Rose Jr will throw a fit? (get it?? but I shouldn't joke about such things)
MOBomberFan Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Ohhhh hello I didn't see you there
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 14-0! and it's only the bottom of the 4th

FrostyWinnipeg Posted September 21, 2017 Author Report Posted September 21, 2017 That last home run for the Goldies was like 420'. Its like the Wingnut underhanded it to the plate.
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 really kind of makes me wish that the Goldeyes had a song like the Cubs do
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 sigh 15-2 but we have a healthy lead
MOBomberFan Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 18-2 iHeart, bearpants and SPuDS 3
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 18-2 top of the 9th three outs away from becoming the Pittsburgh Penguins of the AAB
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 (edited) FISH WIN! FISH WIN! FISH WIN! ARE THE PITTSBURGH PENGUINS OF THE AAB!!! Edited September 21, 2017 by iHeart MOBomberFan and FrostyWinnipeg 1 1
MOBomberFan Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Way to go Fish. I was there to see the first one, I wish I could have been there to see this one. Sounds like the crowd had a blast.
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 boy is that premature celebration going to come back and haunt the nuts SPuDS 1
FrostyWinnipeg Posted September 21, 2017 Author Report Posted September 21, 2017 Hope to see the Goldeyes at the Bomber game at halftime.
iHeart Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Man the Blue Jays could learn from this team

(one was a tie between two divisions due to the hurricane) Farm system is pretty deep atm, built some good winners down there. The fish are a model sports organization though, i hope the titles rub off on the blue. SPuDS 1

wbbfan Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Just now, iHeart said: you talking about the Bombers right? it would be so nice if we could get two championships in one year, I don't think that has ever happened in Winnipeg (because didn't the Bombers have a Grey Cup-less 70s?) ya. would have to go back to the land before time if it did happen lol. Maybe that means we are due! The fish have allways been an incredible organization, from day 1 too. Hal lanier was a great hire and really set the tone for high expectations. I think it was keith law i saw the other day had said on social media that he thinks that vlady and bo are 2 of the 5 best hitting prospects in baseball atm, and that vladdy is the best in a generation. Which is insane. But with his age and given the fact he moved up after he cooled off and actually hit even better at High A i guess its possible.
Goalie Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Back to Balk championships. Congrats Fish. FrostyWinnipeg, wbbfan, Noeller and 2 others 2 1 2
bearpants Posted September 21, 2017 Report Posted September 21, 2017 Sounds like the Goldies juuuust squeaked out a close one... ... disappointed I couldn't be there Congratulations to the Goldeyes!
