FrostyWinnipeg Posted January 11 Report Posted January 11 Nearly six years after its announcement, Kildonan Place may be getting that new food court.

iHeart Posted January 12 Author Report Posted January 12 (edited) and it needs a proper ice cream place (the outlet place has a Kernels and a Baskin Robbins in the same store) the closest they have is a Pinkberry at Second Cup and the stuff at Junxion is just f'real shakes with a twist. We don't need a DQ in KP not if there's one a block away Edited January 12 by iHeart

iHeart Posted 22 hours ago Author Report Posted 22 hours ago so Oreo Cakesters have returned to Canadian Grocery Stores (woo-hoo no more depending on import places for them)

iHeart Posted 21 hours ago Author Report Posted 21 hours ago there are too many things from the US that I want to see on our Grocery Shelves (Chik Fil A Sauce isn't one of them though, that is something I'd rather get from the import stores)
Bubba Zanetti Posted 20 hours ago Report Posted 20 hours ago 17 minutes ago, Mark H. said: Some of the American BBQ sauce would be good Famous Dave's BBQ sauce is drink worthy(Sweet & Zesty and Rich & Sassy). The restaurant itself has gone down hill and is pretty awful now which is a shame. They do sell the sauces at the restaurant but its crazy expensive. Always stock up when we go to the U.S. Mark H. 1
iHeart Posted 20 hours ago Author Report Posted 20 hours ago (edited) well maybe some condiments or Taco Bell Taco Shells? (I don't really need the Dolly Parton cake mixes anymore since I made everything I wanted to make with them) or Velveeta Skillet stuff Edited 19 hours ago by iHeart

I haven't gone in a few years but I believe Luxe's (the place where you can buy BBQ's and smokers) also had a large variety of sauces when I last went. I find that most Superstores/Sobeys/Safeway carry the same old stuff and have a very small section for "gourmet" or different BBQ sauces. Mark H. 1

Luxe does carry a huge selection but there are still some brands/flavors that they don't carry or can't get in Canada. For example, they carry some Kinders BBQ sauces but there are certain flavours (like black cherry chipotle or bourbon peach) that I have only ever seen in the US. I try to stock up on those whenever I get the chance.
