Well, this game the late one on Saturday has huge implications riding on it, and once again our Bombers are gonna be the center of the CFL drama.

It was the meeting earlier this season between these two teams that really set things in motion for both teams propelling us to second in the West and even though Edmonton does still sit at 3rd at the moment, they haven't won since we gave them the L.

A win this Saturday and I think it would all but guarantee we host the West semifinal even with 2 meetings with BC and a date with Calgary left.

Having said that, the Esks certainly understand what's at stake here and they know if they don't get things righted soon, it still is mathematically possible for them to miss the playoffs.  Not likely, but even if you do get a crossover to the crappy east, no guarantee that you're going to be able to play good in BMO.

Certainly the big onus once again is going to be on our D.  We've played better the last two weeks, but we're not going up against Bridge in his first banjo bowl action at IGF, or the raw inexperienced Lindley out in the rain.  We got Reilly with some of his missing players back coming off a bye with a little extra time to prepare at home.  And, the Esks are probably going to get a couple more wins before this season is up even though it was shown their 7-0 start wasn't all that.
