The Jets re-up'd Noel and let him go the next year. Not a biggie imho.

The contract doesn’t matter in the sense of money. But it tells us management didn’t see the coach as an issue.

Exactly....What's the saying....'there's none so blind as those who refuse to see'...If you've followed Paul's past coaching record before he got here it starts off successful....sometimes very successful then goes into the tank big time....Maurice ....meet tank.....Sure players play and coaches coach but once you lose the locker room, which it now appears is the case....it's time to replace the coach as you cannot replace a whole team.....Something has got to give.....IF we drop a couple more there will be consequences (no I'm not Kavis) but I think Maurice is now in the same type of boat as Reed....listing badly and taking on water.

The players all like Maurice. Wheeler is on record saying so. Im not sure they have given up.. Im just not sure the leadership group is good enough including Maurice once momentum shifts. Where was the timeout last night in the 2nd?  But yeah... No discipline for the vets who eff up so of course the vets like him.

Why TNSE felt Maurice earned that new extension is simply bewildering.
