Super Duper Negatron Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Complete joke of a game plan tonight. And here I thought we were finally done with the let down games. This defense isnt taking this team anywhere.
pigseye Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Even worse than the LDC loss to the Riders, hard to believe they would be this unprepared.
Bubba Zanetti Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Anyone want to vomit? Masoli stat line 27/33 for 333 yards and 2 TD's. Our "defense" turned him into Doug Flutie.
bustamente Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Every team gets over 300 on out defense, its their m.o. deepsixemtoboyd and Goalie 2
Bubba Zanetti Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Well, Davis cant move the ball against a prevent defense. Here's to Matt Nichols' health!
Goalie Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Davis was fine. When u completely ignore your run game... U are fooling nobody.
bustamente Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 I have erased this game from my memory bank so I can longer comment on a game I didn't see. deepsixemtoboyd 1

If Kyle Walters can't see one of the major problems is Ritchie Hall then we're in big trouble. rebusrankin and deepsixemtoboyd 2

Bubba Zanetti Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Disagree. DB's are playing 5-10 yards off in prevent, you should be able to hit guys at will on quick hitters. He was under/over throwing guys all over the field.

Ya if you want to go 6 yards at a time when you need 3 scores. Thought his accuracy was alright considering the situation. Had a couple he didn’t step into when the pocket was in his lap but otherwise fairly accurate. At least 3 drops. Decent mobility but had his eyes in the rush sometimes so might have missed someone coming open downfield on scrambles. Edited October 7, 2017 by JuranBoldenRules Goalie 1
Bubba Zanetti Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 take what they give you. better than turning the ball over missing guys
Bubba Zanetti Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Just when people were starting to respect the Bombers. Now i know why they were hesitant.

SpeedFlex27 Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 This was embarrassing. Total garbage.
Tracker Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 The reasons the Bombers lost this game so badly are simple, and none of them relate to Nichols being injured. Their O-line mauled the Bomber vaunted D-line who got little pressure on Masoli. Their D-line and blitzes confused and dominated what was supposed to be one of if not the best O-line in the league. Their receivers were open way too much, and the Cats were able to run up the middle at will and get 8-15 yards every damned time. Simple and fatal. If Hall isn't responsible, who is? Who is still saying that we can give up 350+ yards every game and still win? deepsixemtoboyd 1
Goalie Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Yup... Here it comes... 10 and 4. Calm down. We played like ****. Calgarys only loss was montreal. It happens. Albertabomberguy and Mr Dee 2

Hurl is the worst MLB in the league. Davis looked pretty bad at QB against the prevent. Barely moved the ball and only got 3 points in the half. If he starts next week the Bombers are dead barring a tonne of turnovers by the d. Probably the worst backup or one of the worst backups at this point. Bridge in Sask looked much better and that is with a team that supposedly has inferior talent.

Could it be that Davis looked bad (at least partially) because the team had collectively thrown in the towel at that point?
Goalie Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 (edited) Ignoring the run game in October when its windy and chilly is just asking for trouble. What do u expect from Davis when Nichols was struggling also. We had absolutely zero run game.. Harris and Flanders were MIA from the opening whistle. When the other team knows u arent running.. This is what happens. Totally shitty game plan by the O and D. Edited October 7, 2017 by Goalie Fatty Liver 1
Goalie Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Harris at half "we just run the plays the oc calls". D sucked but O was a joke also.
Floyd Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 Sounds like hall and Lapo outschemed themselves Goalie 1
Goalie Posted October 7, 2017 Report Posted October 7, 2017 (edited) Irving and Brown pretty tough on the D. Mentioned the 14 play 9 minute 105 yard drive. D was bad. Hard not to lose your fight when that happens. Irving actually called the D soft. My guess... If Hamilton doesnt score on the opening drive of the 2nd half... Nichols plays. They did and ate the clock big time... Hamilton had the ball for 2/3rds of the game.. Its not cuz our O was bad.. They weren't good tho.. But it was cuz our D couldnt stop ****.
