If anything, I see a gentle nudge from management for Hall to retire with a replacement coming from within. He is too respected by management to be canned.

Before anyone says that an internal coach taking the leap to Richie's position is crazy talk, remember how many of us thought that Bob Wylie would be irreplaceable.

Of course, if we can juggle the ratio (see Demski) and replace Hurl with a moderately competent import, then Richie's future looks a lot brighter
