sweep the leg Posted October 20, 2017 Author Report Posted October 20, 2017 Couple of things of note (imo): 1. Lankford is out 2. Fogg trying to play sam and do all returns should be interesting. 3. Are we really going to dress eight linebackers? SPuDS 1
17to85 Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 They better ******* not sit one of Poop or Nevis again. After seeing how both of them being on the roster befuddled the BC offense how do you not keep on keeping on with that? rebusrankin, wbbfan, Mark F and 4 others 4 3
Mr Dee Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 Straight and simple thread for game day.....thank you Gm #80 Notes · Winnipeg at Toronto: A Winnipeg win ...: If the Blue Bombers win this game they ... - Clinch a playoff berth in back-to-back years for the first time since 2007-08. - Clinch a home playoff game for the first time since 2011 - they have been at home in post-season only 3x in the last 14 years - Reach 12 wins for the first time since 2002 and can win as many as 14 for the first time since 2001. - Retain a chance to finish first if Calgary loses this week; last time in 1st? 2011. - Finish at 7-1 vs the East, matching the most inter-divisional wins they have ever had (since interlocking play began in 1961). - Give them 13 road wins in the last two years - the last time they had as many as 13 was 55 years ago (15: 1961-62) - Make their record 9-2 in the last 11 games and give them 22 days to prepare for the Western Semi-Final (at least) - Even Coach Mike O'Shea's career W-L record at 36-36 .500, .500 or better for the first time since September 13, 2014. A Toronto win ...: If the Argos win this game they ... - Move back into 1st place ahead of Ottawa and retain control of their own destiny in the East. - Retain a chance to finish at .500 or better for the second time in the last three seasons. - Keep their chance at 1st place alive and for the first time since they won the East in 2013. - Improve their win total to 3 more than in 2016 (5-13); the last time they were +3 wins over the previous year was in 2012. - Match their best home record at 6-3 since a 7-2 mark back in 2003. - Post their second win of the year over a Western team (they are just 1-7 thus far) - Avoid a season worst 3-game losing streak. - Give Coach Marc Trestman his 67th career victory and within one of Michael Clemons at #19 all-time (68 wins)
17to85 Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 I thought the Bombers already clinched a spot? SPuDS 1

shadybob Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) Finally no Lankford on the roster. Little worried about Washington, hopefully he proves me wrong though. Very nice to see Dressler and Wild back, however little Wild might play. And please for fucks sake, play both Nevis and Poop this week, they are a two man wrecking crew when they're in the game, both in terms of QB pressures and shutting down the run game. Arnold_Palmer Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 Excited to see Givens get a chance, also happy Dressler is back. When you have Dressler, Denmark, and Harris in the offense you can't say Nichols doesn't have anyone to throw too. Big opportunity to clinch second place and give some of our injured guys a chance to rest up. SPuDS and Tracker 2
Fatty Liver Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 Lankford has been moved to the PR along with Branning, so this basically means that they were cut and agreed to positions on the PR, which doesn't really matter as scooping players at this time of year is pointless.
James Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 If they sit Nevis or Corey Johnson I might have to make time to call in to the coaches show this week and give Mike O'Shea a hard time. rebusrankin, SPuDS, BigBlueFanatic and 1 other 3 1
JuranBoldenRules Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 2 imports have to be scratched. Foketi and ....? Let’s hope Knox. rebusrankin 1
Mr Dee Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 Gob-smacking Stats.... For Matt Nichols... Recent Winnipeg QB Starters: Matt Nichols has started the last 28 games and the last non-Nichols QB starter was Drew Willy on Jul 21/16 vs Calgary. Here is a recap of the impact Nichols has made comparing all Winnipeg QB starters across 2012-2017: Winnipeg Blue Bombers 2012-17: QB Starters Matt Nichols games started 35 won-loss 23-12 .657% 9,477 yards 54 tds, 24 int All 9 Other QBs started ...70. won-loss 20-50 .287% 14,398 yards 51 TDs 61 int Notable: - Nichols has more wins (23) and TD passes (54) in 35 starts than the other 9 QBs have in 70 starts (20W, 51 TDs) - Nichols pass efficiency of 97.4 far exceeds the other QBs combined at 82.5 - Since 2015, the Bombers winning pct. when Nichols starts is .657 and trails only Bo Levi Mitchell in that time ??Damn fine stats... ddanger, Fred C Dobbs, shadybob and 1 other 2 2

Noeller Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 The Argos depth chart is out if someone wants to grab it. I'm on my phone and can't grab the pic Url but anyone on their computer should be able to post here...

rebusrankin Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 No Lankford. Finally the coaches started reading this board. Doublezero 1

AKAChip Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 This is as good as the roster can look without Leggett and Adams
Goalie Posted October 20, 2017 Report Posted October 20, 2017 (edited) Its gonna be one of the DT or Knox. Looking at the chart.. Im gonna say Poop sits because the rookie CDN plays. Edited October 20, 2017 by Goalie
