tacklewasher Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Don't know why, but the list shows BC as visitor. Game is in BC.
TrueBlue Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Also has Saskatchewan as visiting team as well.
Rich Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 I'll fix this right away. The addon was built for soccer where they tend to swap which side the home / away team is set. So while I can customize how it displays, not how I enter it. So when I'm entering them it is opposite from the cfl website I read it off of. I've caught a few myself but let me know if you see others.
tacklewasher Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 Is this the best way to communicate this kind of stuff, or would you prefer something other than a thread?
Rich Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Is this the best way to communicate this kind of stuff, or would you prefer something other than a thread? A thread or PM. Either is fine.
tacklewasher Posted September 11, 2013 Author Report Posted September 11, 2013 Thanks. HAve to remember who you are for the PM
Rich Posted September 11, 2013 Report Posted September 11, 2013 Thanks. HAve to remember who you are for the PM You mean you don't just know who I am? There were some people who put their picks in for the week already. Good news is that it is smart enough that if you picked Saskatcehwan as a Visitor, you still have Saskatchewan picked now that it is the home team. However, if who is the home team between the Toronto / Saskatchewan and Montreal / BC games will affect your pick, then you will have to go in and edit them.
Jacquie Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Just out of curiosity, when the NHL regular season starts are you going to add a Pick'ems pool for that too or would that be way too much work?
Rich Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 Just out of curiosity, when the NHL regular season starts are you going to add a Pick'ems pool for that too or would that be way too much work? Really depends on the level of interest. Not only would it be a lot of work for me to setup, it would be a lot of work for people to constantly make picks. One of the suggestions I've had is to just do Saturday night games. It is usually the busiest night of the week, so you get a good set of games.
tacklewasher Posted September 12, 2013 Author Report Posted September 12, 2013 Could always just do Jets games. BTW, what Jets forum do most people frequent during the season?
Rich Posted September 12, 2013 Report Posted September 12, 2013 I don't actively post, but I usually go to HFBoards http://hfboards.hockeysfuture.com/forumdisplay.php?f=29

Lot of absolute raging homers starting pissing contests left right and centre.
