WildPath Posted November 9, 2017 Report Posted November 9, 2017 Glad that Wild hit was posted. I actually forgot it and it was one of my favourite memories of the O'Shea era. Love how Wild reacted and then it shows O'Shea all happy and applauding then cuts back to an injury lol

Again with the copycatting...meow 5 hours ago, TBURGESS said: 3 things could happen in every game we win: We totally outplay them, which is your go to position. They totally sucked, which you seem to believe is my position. Some combination of 1 and 2, which is actually my position. Gee, you only had to make 3 points, and still got all 3 points wrong.. 5 hours ago, TBURGESS said: You say it was relentless pressure, but ignore that their backup QB was taking more time than BLM to make their decisions and that their backup QB's were telegraphing their throws. And you’re ignoring the fact that it was their backup QB that we caused to make bad decisions by rushing relentlessly against what many believe is the top O-Line in the CFL. Buckley was forced to make some poor decisions. That’s how the game is played. 5 hours ago, TBURGESS said: You call them forced turnovers and completely ignore the mistakes that their backup QB's and others made. I say some of the turnovers were forced and some were their mistakes. Duh, the ‘mistakes’ were caused by by the ‘other team’, the other team being the Bombers. 5 hours ago, TBURGESS said: you put on you blue goggles and say it unfolded that way because the Bombers were the better team. I say that their mistakes were as much at fault for their bad day as our good play. It doesn’t take blue goggles, just open eyes, to see that indeed, the Bombers were the better team that day, mistakes forced, or not. Better prepared and more plays made... 5 hours ago, TBURGESS said: but you and others have some sort of need to spin the win in a certain way and get pissed when I don't see it the same way you do. We are not the ones doing the spinning my dear man. It’s no wonder you can’t read the signs and follow the discourse when you try so hard to bend the facts so hard that you sometimes spin it out of control. Just have a seat, put your feet up, and try to relax. Enjoy the game for what it is. A sport. SPuDS, blitzmore, TBURGESS and 4 others 4 1 1 1

Difference was the pressure/big plays made by one defense, out there. You are completely ignoring the fact that Buckley was having interception problems.

I honestly don't understand why this concept is so foreign to people. Dan Lefevor, who is a pick machine himself, didn't give up the ball anywhere nearly as much as Calgary did. He isn't an all-world QB, hes barely a backup to lots of people... short yardage specialist. Calgary's defense couldn't do to our offense what the Bombers defense did to their offense. That, imo, means our team OUTPLAYED the other team. Our offense didn't turn over the ball as much. meaning, our offense outplayed calgary's. can't really explain it down to brass tacks any more then that. Mark F and blitzmore 2
