He's a solid O-lineman and has earned his keep the last two seasons as a rotating piece. Durability was a concern in the past for him and that adversely affected his stock, IMO.

For what he is, he's an important asset.

good to have a vet like Neuf around for the young guys.  It's what Hellebuyck needed last year and has this year (different sport I know but same idea).

Yeah newfie was straight up turnstiled with regularity last time we had to start him regularly. Hes not good. and not rotational. Remember when harris was averaging 1.8 yards per carry for the first several weeks of his time here? Newfie blocking.

Harris also gets way better numbers when he's not all alone in the backfield.  His numbers really took off when he had Flanders back there spelling him.

Flanders was mostly playing a slot/flanker/wing position and motioning into the back field post snap. Harris was also tearing it up pretty good before flanders drew in for good. Good threats open up more holes. But weve seen flanders carry the team on his back pushing the pile for 5 yards  etc. Flanders makes the offense better, but if he was actually used and it would be better still.

You may want to consider - that most of the guys he was starting with have been starters for all of this year - on an outstanding OL.

Anyone who doesn't remember what happened when Bond Replaced Newf was just not paying very much attention.

I think they're insane if they don't dress Foketi - OL should be last position that is sacrificed.

No kidding. Bond + hardrick drawing into the line up was massive. People need to go back and look at those early games from last year. That OL was dismal.

To be clear, Hardrick was always in the lineup.  But he was at LG while Neufeld was playing RT.  Neufeld came out, Hardrick bumped to RT, and Bond came in at LG.

And Nichols came in at the same time so the QB was holding the ball for far less time.

Bond made a big difference but it's not like it was an isolated move.  Several changes happened at the time to turn things around.

Add 10% to teams in the West, and take away that 30 from the Argos and its more viable,   That chart was made  IN Toronto, no question!

Those numbers are a reflection of Toronto's much easier path to the Grey Cup.  That said, Calgary should have a higher percentage for the same reason.

That said, these statistics aren't the statistics that decide football games.

You are correct.
