  1. 1. When do we show Hall the door?

    • Immediately and decisively; before Grey cup week
    • Immediately after the Grey cup; thoughtfully
    • Before Christmas - - let's not torture the man
    • In January before the free agent deadline in February; let's make sure we can find somebody better first
    • Later in the spring when we are sure we have found somebody who will accept the job
    • No, let's re up him to another 3 year contract with a big bonus
    • Other: no swearwords please

Mike O’Shea:

"Obviously a decision like this is a very difficult one to make on many levels," head coach Mike O'Shea said in a release. "The reality of the situation is such that we simply weren't good enough on the defensive side of the football this season, and felt that we needed to go in a different direction in this regard.

Not only that but Hall wasn't officially announced as the replacement until late January.

Hall might be hated now, but Id say he is still better then etch was imo.

In the defense of all coach's that step into a difficult situation, look at the personnel that Etch was given to work with.  It's inevitable that they can't turn it around in the year or two that they're given when the team is inept on both sides of the ball.  Fair warning to any HC picking up the reins in Mtl.

As they damn well should. You can't stand pat on what hasn't worked and expect anything to improve. That'd qualify as insanity.

Well, there is also the possibility of making regressive moves - we definitely saw some of that this year.

You are certainly correct in that he had a lot less to work with then hall. The guy made no adjustments though. I remember seeing us missing a gap in assignment early in the first quarter, then for the whole rest of the game . (b gap on the right side iirc)

That is called a "left-handed compliment" like , "For a fat girl, you don't sweat much".

Ive heard it as a backhanded compliment, but never a lefty. Though i do kind of like the lefty version lol.

Have to look forward by never looking back.

Start person X at MLB, change to someone else the following season. The next season, start person X again & ask the safety et. al. to cover some of his territory. That’s not looking back far enough.

Find a DC who actually plays a middle linebacker. We went back to 2015 using Hurl. That was a case of looking back & not looking forward.

My prediction, Sherrit will sign with the Bombers.  ;)

Nasty little guy in the middle who is very experienced....Was injured all of last year but should have recovered completely by now..Sounds good unless we can make a deal for Solo in B.C.lol

Do you have any idea what BC would want in a trade for Elimimian? Multiple starters & draft picks. It would be too rich for the Bpombers. Or any team
