sweep the leg Posted November 14, 2017 Author Report Posted November 14, 2017 This is from Bauming, but for some reason the entire tweet didn't show up when I posted this.
pigseye Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 Wow, I think this was supposed to be our year to win it all. Noeller 1

pigseye Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 Ah, I forgot about the 1 year deals, makes sense now.

Atomic Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 I'd be surprised if even 10 of those names made it to free agency without being re-signed. Definitely some big names on the list though. blue_gold_84 1
rebusrankin Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 I think you let Wild and Nevis go to use their $ elsewhere. Maybe Medlock too. Neufeld perhaps due to cost or he takes a paycut. Let Knox walk. Let Hurl walk. Tracker, TBURGESS and Judd 1 2
17to85 Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 That's an awful lot of key players. Kyle Walters has his work cut out for him.
SPuDS Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 can someone post the list again but not in an image? for some dumb ass reason, my computer doesn't show the image. just its location.jpg

I think Wild is a guy you can get back at a lower salary just because of his injury troubles, and I think that's the best way to go about that. They haven't been so strong at recruiting linebackers that you just let a talent like Wild walk away. Atomic, SPuDS and BigBlueFanatic 3

O'Shea: "Kyle, how come my star middle linebacker is not in camp?" Walters: "We just couldn' t agree to terms!" rebusrankin, BigBlueFanatic, blue_gold_84 and 1 other 2 1 1
blueingreenland Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 I think you offer Medlock and Dressler new deals, but at slightly less $. Dresser is getting hurt a lot and Medlock, while really solid, is an American playing a typical Canadian position. If Medlock walks I believe we still have that draft pick kid who showed well in camp and will be done school now.
kelownabomberfan Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 Time to pass the torch. Medlock was good this year but not $300K a year good or whatever we are paying him. He cost us two games this year that might have been the difference in making it to first place in the West.
blueingreenland Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 I think Medlock is still the leagues best kicker (we have him kick a lot of long ones), but maybe we could save some of that coin for - oh I don't know, maybe a stud MLB
Judd Posted November 14, 2017 Report Posted November 14, 2017 (edited) Must haves: heath, randle, bryant, dressler, hardrick Wants: spooner, flanders, bond Not going to lose sleep if they leave: JFG, Nevis, medlock, westerman, wild Edited November 15, 2017 by Judd
rebusrankin Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Wild missed 13 games this year and 6 in 2016. I think its time to move on and use his $ elsewhere. Especially since you seem to have his replacement in JSK. Bubba Zanetti, Tracker, bustamente and 3 others 6

If they can get the starting O-line and DB’s under contract along with Dress and Flanders I’ll be a happy camper.
Fraser Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Well this is the most depressing thing I've seen since the bomber's. Performance on Sunday blue_gold_84 1
sweep the leg Posted November 15, 2017 Author Report Posted November 15, 2017 Wasn't sure if a thread for other teams' free agents was needed, but here's the Redblacks list. Some big names here too: Receiver Brad Sinopoli Receiver/returner Diontae Spencer Receiver Jake Harty Running back William Powell Running back Brendan Gillanders Linebacker Taylor Reed Defensive back Jonathan Rose Defensive back Jerrell Gavins Defensive lineman Zack Evans Defensive lineman Arnaud Gascon-Nadon Offensive lineman Alex Mateas Offensive lineman Nolan MacMillan Noeller and Mark F 2
mfranc Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 Pretty much every team in the league has a massive free agent list. It's simply the new reality. Noeller and bearpants 1 1
Arnold_Palmer Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 I'd be okay with moving on from a lot of these guys.. I'd love to see Hardick and Bryant back on offence, and the trio of Randle, Heath, and Leggett (assuming he is healthy) I'd also bring back Wild, Dressler, Medlock, and Westerman only if they decided to take paycuts because quite frankly they weren't worth their salary this season. Everyone else on this list I'm in different about. I wouldn't mind have Flanders back either but he may be looking for a starting position on another team and I wouldn't blame him for wanting the opportunity to start.. I didn't even include Bond because i assume he's NFL bound.
Mike Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 I don't think Bond will be NFL bound. I think he comes back. JCon, blue_gold_84, Atomic and 3 others 4 2
