holoman Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 Can we get a post to get 55 likes? cause 55 pages seems unreachable. SPuDS and rebusrankin 2
Noeller Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 Fwiw: @DarrinBauming Heath, Fogg, Bond, and even Westerman are all looking for raises. Sounding to me like the #Bombers will let those four, and Jake Thomas, hit the market on February 13. SPuDS 1

MOBomberFan Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 If this thread actually hits 55 and Westerman actually signs... then you know we're pushing it to 60! SPuDS and Noeller 2
WBBFanWest Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 And more specifically believe in the power of: SPuDS 1
Fraser Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 I think we've done a really good job of locking up our pending FAs thus far Bigblue204, Goalie, SPuDS and 1 other 4
Goalie Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 Maybe the plan is to go 2 CDN receivers and a mostly US D.

Neufeld in for an-assumed ?? MLB previously held by ?? Sam Hurl. I think Winnipeg is looking to start two ??National receivers. FA options: Anthony Parker, Nic Demski.

In that scenario maybe Flanders is the 1000 yd rusher and Harris the 1000 yard slotback. This saves Andrew from much of the heavy inside rock hauling. Let him catch the ball in space and flatten a few DBs. Then you've got another NAT ie: Coates or Wolitarsky at wideout. SPuDS, Blueandgold, Noeller and 1 other 4
Floyd Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 Relying on two NI REC for your ratio is never a good plan... you will never have enough depth on the roster Letting Westerman walk is a mistake

Love the way Harris runs through guys, but that's living on borrowed time. He can't keep taking that kind of punishment. BigBlueFanatic and SPuDS 2
Blueandgold Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 If Jake Thomas leaves, Faith better be ready to roll. SPuDS 1

Flanders at RB and Harris at SB is an idea I’ve supported for quite sometime. It should help extended the career of a harris as he ages as well.
Jacquie Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 Does anyone really think Harris would be happy playing slot back. No way he would accept that scenario. Floyd and SPuDS 2

SPuDS Posted February 6, 2018 Report Posted February 6, 2018 getting Leggett back was huge. I am concerned about the Ratio if we let both Thomas (as who does Etikakiti platoon with?) and Westerman walk? receivers a notion but like mentioned, hard to keep depth.
bustamente Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Wrong sport but you get the idea Colin Unger and Noeller 1 1
Dr. Blue Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 I'm not sure I really like dressing 6 NATS on O. What happens if Harris goes down in a game? You've declared 6 NATS on O so a NAT basically has to come in at RB or REC. It would then be hard to get Flanders moved back to RB. If you go with 5, and Harris goes down, Flanders moves to RB and a NAT slides in at REC. Maybe I'm over thinking this, or we pick up Lafrance, which works too.
Booch Posted February 7, 2018 Report Posted February 7, 2018 Maybe we are targeting simonese in the draft..if we going that route With Couture and Spooner in the fold..Chungh and Goose established and happy here and possibly Gray in a yr or two we can probably wait a round or two to pick an online guy cause after a point they are wasted picks as they are buried on PR and you lose them anyway. With Coates.. Wolitowski..possibly DEmski as a free agent then grabbing a receiver in draft makes good sense. I would like to see us get Evan Gill to rotate with Faith and Corney as our depth as Marouf develops. Ideally we can keep Westerman with increase coming outta Thomas' salary and balance of Thomas and JFG salary to to a Gill or similar DL and Hurls money used on an import mlb rebusrankin and James 2
