iHeart Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 (edited) really? I'm doing this again okay then. Jets face the Kings at 9:30 pm (and sadly I cannot update this thread past ten thirty because I have to work the next day) Jets are 12-5-3 with 27 points Kings are 12-7-2 with 26 points in the league Jets are coming off a tough loss in regulation against Nashville the team is in California the rest of the week so let's hope for at least one win out of this, even if it's an overtime loss Edited November 21, 2017 by iHeart Mark F and FrostyWinnipeg 2
bustamente Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 Golf, Beaches , and Sunshine what can possibly go wrong, Jets need to come back .500 or better on this trip losing streaks will drop them in the standing quickly.
iHeart Posted November 21, 2017 Author Report Posted November 21, 2017 yeah I am pretty concerned that they won't use their off day wisely like when there was a three day gap between games before being up against Vegas
Judd Posted November 21, 2017 Report Posted November 21, 2017 We're conditioned to expect the worst from the Jerts lol. None of us are used to expecting points on road trips like we have been this year Atomic 1
blue_gold_84 Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 If the Jets play clean, they should be alright on this Cali road trip. Discipline is what did them in vs. Nashville, so eliminating the lame penalties should help.
iHeart Posted November 22, 2017 Author Report Posted November 22, 2017 Mason leaves the ice first so he'll be starting tonight

blue_gold_84 Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Good chance he'll play twice in Cali, then.
iHeart Posted November 22, 2017 Author Report Posted November 22, 2017 I don't know let's see how he does tonight
blue_gold_84 Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Just now, iHeart said: I don't know let's see how he does tonight The Jets have a back-to-back coming up, so that's why I see him getting another start. My guess would be in SJ on Saturday night. Maurice on why he chose to start Mason tonight:
Goalie Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 35 minutes ago, iHeart said: I don't know let's see how he does tonight Hes good. Dont let 2 games fool you especially when last year you said the same about helle... Tells me your hockey knowledge is lackkng in certain areas. There is going to be a point this yesr where Helle sits and Mason plays multiple games in a row.
Atomic Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Let's not forget Mason was brought in to be the starter. He can play. He should be pushing for 30-35 games so Helle doesn't get burned out.
Arnold_Palmer Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Exactly. Last thing we want to do is burn our young goalie out. Mason is a proven vet. If he can't be trusted to be able to get us 2 points on the road then we should never have signed him. I think he'll be fine. Atomic 1
iHeart Posted November 23, 2017 Author Report Posted November 23, 2017 Jets are 1-0 after 1 with Lowry opening the scoring.
kelownabomberfan Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 Mason looking strong! Reffing pretty suspect tonight. Hope Buff takes a run at that Fantenburg jerk. Atomic 1
kelownabomberfan Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 (edited) First win in franchise history in LA in regulation! I will post this as Frosty seems to have gone AWOL: Edited November 23, 2017 by kelownabomberfan Mark F 1
bustamente Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 Last year the Kings would of come back and tied the game late and won in overtime, not this year, they gutted out the win tonight, Mason was great tonight so was Armia and Tanev. SPuDS 1
Floyd Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 Mason had a nice game but man he reminds me of pavs...

iHeart Posted November 23, 2017 Author Report Posted November 23, 2017 Mason had a great game last night, and I'm hearing he had an assist? that's a rare feat for a goalie
Judd Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 (edited) Mason was great. He's had a reputation of having 20 game heaters. Wouldn't be too upset if Helle had a 20 game heater than Mason had his 20 game heater now Edited November 23, 2017 by Judd
Atomic Posted November 23, 2017 Report Posted November 23, 2017 Mason is feeling it right now. 7 hours ago, Floyd said: Mason had a nice game but man he reminds me of pavs... In some ways, yes... he has a tendency to go flying out of the net and get out of position like Pavs. But I do think he is a better goalie. SPuDS 1
