Last year there was at least 5 new starters on D (Nevis, poop, oko, jeffcoat, Alexander). And what 3 on Offence. It's just the way the CFL is now. The core is still there. Wanna-B-Fanboy 1

Can include walker and Carmichael too... however okpo/Jeffcoat and poop/Nevis we’re kind of just one position maybe it won’t happen but to me it looks like we’re poised to see completely new looks on O and D...
Jpan85 Posted February 25, 2018 Report Posted February 25, 2018 You can include every team in the league. Everyone is rolling trough a bunch of new starters. Bigblue204, Noeller, SPuDS and 1 other 4

I agree actually... this could be the new reality of one year contracts calgary is still following their course - cutting vets... probably the least ‘blown up’ i might argue that sask is being accidentally blown up but yes more change league wide than previous years

Guys from college are more ready to play and have a big impact right away compared to most sports.

I guess this is my point - we have significant positions changing before any recruitment surprised or vet TC cuts

The ratio-breaking Canadian linebacker spent time meeting Alouettes coaches and seeing the facilities last week. And the 2018 Great Canadian Henoc Tour has begun... Mark F and wbbfan 2
Blueandgold Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 So it’s either back to Winnipeg or back to Montreal? Interesting.
Mike Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Yeah I figured he'd want to head to Ottawa too.
WBBFanWest Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Anyone seen the tour bus at/near the stadium? Mark F 1
bb1 Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 HENOC. ...The Magical Mystery TourIs waiting to take you away
wbbfan Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Inb4 toronto signs him too. If he has to consider going back to mtl vs here then he has the wrong mentality.
bustamente Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 You think the facilities have changed that much in Montreal wbbfan and johnzo 2

Noeller Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 I can't believe they actually think he's worth all this nonsense... Christ. Mark F 1
bustamente Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Not going to get my hopes up , if he wants to play here great if not he take a long walk of a short pier.
Mark F Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 (edited) I guess Muamba is worth waiting for 3downnation "Overall Muamba has played in 73 career games since Winnipeg selected him No. 1 overall in the 2011 CFL Draft. He has recorded 267 tackles, 74 special teams tackles, 11 forced fumbles, six sacks, four interceptions and one touchdown." Edited February 26, 2018 by Mark F johnzo 1
Atomic Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Frankly its the offseason and as long as Muamba is here for day 1 of training camp I don't care how long he takes to sign. JCon, wbbfan, rebusrankin and 6 others 9

Fatty Liver Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 If Walters is seriously negotiating with Muamba I hope it's for a multi-year deal so they at least get a couple of years out of him.
Stickem Posted February 26, 2018 Report Posted February 26, 2018 Muamba...for all of his perceived short comings is still a pretty good canuck ball player...He would make our D an instant contender to win it all....IF we can get him on a 2 year deal, I think he's worth the effort...Should here something soon...one way or the other
