“Savagers will point out the product has been mundane. Although there has been an attempt to spice up blah with lots of mic’ed-up coaches and players, announcers have been too “rah-rah.” If sideline reporters have to be seen, they should not be heard. Sparsely-filled stadiums cannot be that noisy and players responses to cliched questions have been meh”.

Yes, I agree with this guy.
- Pointing out crowd noise?  Yeah maybe in one stadium

- Sideline interviews? Pretty bad. And useless

- Rah rah announcers? Tryin* real hard. Too hard.

Can't post that without posting the moronic tweet (from the moronic commentator) that started that thread:

Come on GMs? Does this idiot know that there is a salary cap?

I can't wait until Burris is no longer around the league in any capacity.

Burris has the same sentence structure as Trump...

And in three months the league will be the subject of trivia questions.

Pass. Flowers has been absolutely awful in the X.

He's throwing a hissy fit because he played awful, got benched and is now in a rotation.

So much that I hear he’s going to change his name to escape the ramifications.
Football fans, meet Quinton Flours...

My son is having a difficult time today. He's switching back and forth between (Beat)LA vs NY game and a replay of the NFL Combine from last night.

Boy, those DL are slowwwww.... (I could be talking about either show)

Wonder if Vince will reconsider his investment/time willing to put into it when he sees he may loose half of what he budgeted for 3 yrs in yr 1...with a possible yr 2 to hemmorage even more?

Could be a late bloomer.

10/10 for the pun.

Flowers is a talented runner, but at this point you dont have to stretch to find an athletic running qb with a flawed arm.

Vince's ego is bigger than The Big Show. This is all about him. Just wait until the NBA playoffs, MLB & even MLS start up in about a month.

He is exactly what he was groomed to be. Why would you expect otherwise?

Have heard over and over how terrible the QB play is. There is not enough pro QB's to have a decent starters and backups for 32 NFL teams.  Our rules and field size mean that there are always a few who fit better in the CFL.  But there is barely 9 starter level QB's for our needs.  It is to be expected that a league using NFL rules and field will be unable to field starters for a compelling slate of games.

Except they are playing on the same field with the same number of players they've always played.

Against other non NFLers, and it is still bad.

The only thing worse than the QB's are the coaches.  A bunch of geriatrics would have basically been banished from all other leagues.

Continuity will help the QB issue as guys get time to develop as pros and within systems.  They should have allowed unlimited backfield motion for the 3 eligibles who are not on the line.  The two forward pass rule is basically useless.
