because Frosty had been drawing a blank

Anyway the jets finish up their road trip after a tough shoot out loss against the Bruins

Jets currently sit in second place in their division while the Islanders sit in 5th place

The jets will finish off the year with the remaining games against the Islanders and the Oilers (let's hope for a sweep)

12 noon start time on TSN 3

and Mason will start in goal (Helle deserves a big break after all that yesterday)

Mason is pretty consistent. He loses his stick at least once every game.

4-1.

Islanders hitting everything like Maurice's first full year in Winnipeg.

Oh Trouba.

As the season roles on it will become apparent if it hasn't already the Maurice has taken this team as far he can, there is no consistency , one good one bad game one indifferent.

I think they're just tired.  This was a crazy stretch.  They will come back better after the break.

Yes, tired;

With the number of games they play, the travelling, living in hotels, mental boredom that goes with life on the road, there's a limit to what an athlete can do.

  and also, missing buff and enstrom.
