AL East is going to be crazy, if the Red Sox can find a way to stay competitive. I could see three teams making the playoffs.

Bullpen is the same as last year final piece would be to go out and get a closer because I would not feel comfortable with current guys they have in close game situations. Still put the Dodgers up as the best team in baseball they are loaded and got even better today with Freeman signing.

Many in Toronto would also say as long as Charlie Montoya is manager the team will not go over the top. He does not seem to be well-regarded in the 604.

Canned beer from Fort Garry Brewing Company (Winnipeg), Little Brown Jug Brewing Company (Winnipeg), Torque Brewing (Winnipeg), and Trans Canada Brewing Company (Winnipeg) will be available at bar locations and via beer tubs throughout Shaw Park.

It’s the first time in the baseball club’s 29-year history every beer sold will be local at every Goldeyes’ home game.

Watched this breakdown about Hernandez the other day. Jomboy has the best baseball videos. He says if the union won't let them fire him then stick him at 3rd where he won't see that much action because he is brutal behind the plate.

Goldeyes home opener tonight at Shaw Park. 

 

Now that Kijiji no longer allows resale of tickets, what is everyone using in town for resale tickets? I was hoping, despite the crazy wind, to go out to the park tonight. StubHub has lots of tickets available but all well above retail. Anywhere else to check?

It's been something to watch. And, he's been playing centre field a lot this year. MVP of the AL, so far. On pace for almost 65 home runs.
