It’s gonna be flooded if they don’t fix it soon. Correct. It was designed as an indoor only facility, so no drainage. I'm happy for the Rays fans who will continue to be able to attend home games but it's going to be a mess with rainouts and heat. I assume that the Tarpons will also use the facility next season too? Scheduling nightmare. Goalie 1

What about building a new 35000 seat stadium in Montreal & moving the team there? The team could use Olympic Stadium in the interim. Are the Bronfman's still involved in trying to bring a MLB team to Montreal? Edited November 16 by SpeedFlex27

The Big Owe is not available they are pumping another 870 m into the place and replacing the roof which apparently will take 4 years to replace😁

There is little to no interest in bringing another team to Canada right now. No expansion until everything is sorted with the As and Rays, for sure. They need leverage on the cities. Can't see anyone building a domed stadium in Montreal right now, either.

bustamente Posted November 20 Report Posted November 20 The Rays have more problems getting shovels in the ground for a new park.

I guess the government has 3 options, fix Tropicana and forget about a new park still might leave, fix Tropicana and find another way to finance a new park or don't do anything and just let them go,
bustamente Posted November 22 Report Posted November 22 Judge and Ohtani MVP's of their respected leagues, no arguments from me they are the two best players in the game today
bustamente Posted November 27 Report Posted November 27 Looks like the Dodgers are loading up this time in the pitching department. Imagine if they sign Soto
bustamente Posted December 2 Report Posted December 2 I wont be surprised if the Mets or Red Sox sign Juan Soto, he wants the biggest contract in MLB and the Yankees don't look like they are going to do that.
bustamente Posted December 9 Report Posted December 9 Not surprised it looks like Juan Soto is staying in New York but not with the Yankees.

Noeller Posted 12 hours ago Report Posted 12 hours ago Ricky Henderson dead at 65. Good lord... Not sure what happened but that's way too young. One of the greatest leadoff men in MLB history. Not just fast but an intelligent base runner... bustamente 1
