Wideleft Posted August 23, 2023 Report Posted August 23, 2023 Well, if you like watching sports with a playoff feel every night for 3 months, you can't do better than being a Blue Jays fan right now. Fun times. Can't wait for the "soft part" of the schedule to start. Noeller 1

At least Texas and Houston are fading and the Yanks are out of the picture. Noeller 1
bustamente Posted August 29, 2023 Report Posted August 29, 2023 All I can say is what took them so long, the guy gets hurt by just putting his jersey on and can't hit worth a damn, even his fielding was terrible this year. Oh well 31 games left in a terrible season, might be time to see some changes for both manager and GM.

bustamente Posted September 2, 2023 Report Posted September 2, 2023 Yankees waived CF Harrison Bader yesterday he was claimed, great defensively, so so at the plate, injuries followed him around. His future replacement "the Martian" Jasson Dominguez hit a home run against Justin Verlander in his first at bat. JCon 1
bustamente Posted September 2, 2023 Report Posted September 2, 2023 Aaron Judge fastest player to 250 home runs in 810 games, enjoy and your welcome JCon 1
bustamente Posted September 4, 2023 Report Posted September 4, 2023 Julio Urias arrested on a felony domestic violence charge his second in four years, this is how you destroy your career. 20 games for the last arrest even though he was not charged going to be many more this time around.
bustamente Posted September 12, 2023 Report Posted September 12, 2023 I was really enjoying the Martian's start to his MLB career, to bad that he is done for the season and need Tommy John surgery. So it's going to be a while until he tries to resume his career in MLB JCon 1

bustamente Posted September 13, 2023 Report Posted September 13, 2023 Classic example of a dude who believed his own hype and was way over rated especially by media in Toronto.
bustamente Posted September 16, 2023 Report Posted September 16, 2023 Ohtani is going to get a huge contract might even be the richest in baseball history , but it has to be buyer beware with him especially if he decides he wants to continue being an every day player and pitch every 6 days, it's going to shorten his career.
bustamente Posted September 20, 2023 Report Posted September 20, 2023 Just an update on Ohtani, his massive payday may have to wait as he might he ready to hit at the beginning of next season and pitch in '25 after elbow surgery.
FrostyWinnipeg Posted September 22, 2023 Author Report Posted September 22, 2023 Blue jays holding on to WC2, they finally lost last night, good streak tho.

Noeller Posted October 1, 2023 Report Posted October 1, 2023 Jays headed to Minnesota for the WC series. I don't know enough to know if Toronto has a shot here. I know the Central is a weak division, but I also know the Jays are wildly streaky.
Jpan85 Posted October 2, 2023 Report Posted October 2, 2023 Twins have not won a post season series in 19 years. They are pretty much clones of each really good pitching staffs streaky hitting. Noeller 1
Wideleft Posted October 3, 2023 Report Posted October 3, 2023 The Jays have among the best starting rotation, a beefed up bullpen and one of the best defenses in baseball. Starting to see a few more long balls and timely hitting lately. The only thing that scares me is middle relief, but hopefully Gausman, Bassitt and Berrios can render that concern moot. It would help immensely to get some runs scored in the first 3 innnings.

If they can get the bars going, they have the D side of things covered... Wideleft 1
