JCon Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 Out go the Trash-stros. Out go the Orioles. Everything is coming up Yankees! And, the Jays are re-upping Atkins. Could this day get any better?? bustamente 1
Goalie Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 As an only a fan of playing and playoff baseball cuz let’s be real 180 plus games is a bit much but… I’m down with the Tigers. That’s a nice underdog story there. as for the jays, my nephew likes them so did catch a few at the lake this year and honestly. They look like they don’t got much at all. I’d prob see what you could get for both Bo and Vlad and a few others and go scorched earth almost rebuild but maybe you can still do that but quicker with a trade of let’s say just Bo or just Vlad. Vlad prob gets you more but he also genuinely happy to be a Jay. they bringing back atkins and the manager so im not sure what they doing either but does it matter what they do, they will never be the Yankees will they. Or Dodgers for that matter. Trade Bo and a few others. Do something ya know. You are in the Yanks division and there’s a few good teams there most years. Jays need to prob fire the entire group and honestly understand they need to build a team not buy one anymore. Noeller 1
bustamente Posted October 11 Report Posted October 11 Best thing Aaron Boone did this year was take the reliever roll away from Clay Holmes. JCon 1
bustamente Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 Sounds like Tropicana Field will not be ready in time for the Rays home opener next year, there are concerns about the structure itself apart from the roof being blown off.
Jpan85 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 I am sure there is a ton of water damage from the rain. JCon 1
JCon Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 And, they're nowhere near close on that new stadium. Good thing they have tons of stadiums in that neighborhood that they can use. They only need about 15k seats to accommodate everyone. It's not like the A's who are choosing to go to a minor league stadium, they're forced into this.
Jpan85 Posted October 17 Report Posted October 17 I think the Yankee's spring training stadium would be the best bet it fits about 11,000 biggest in Florida. JCon 1

Hello Montreal ? For a bit. Do they have a building tho. Think the big O got converted
bustamente Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 Weaver gets tattooed for 2 2 outs in the ninth and a blown save, extra innings
Goalie Posted October 18 Report Posted October 18 (edited) Dodgers vs Yanks regardless. The MLB dream final is inevitable. And I’d be torn. I actually don’t mind the Yankees, respect them. But growing up wore la dodgers hats. I dunno. Edited October 18 by Goalie
bustamente Posted October 19 Report Posted October 19 So LA and the Yankees are 1 game away from the World Series. Quick thought about the pitching or lack of this post season. Seems like MLB starting pitchers are being pulled at the first signs of getting lit up forcing bullpens to more and more innings which does expose them. Yanks have gotten to Smith and Clase and the Guardians have gotten to Holmes and Weaver. I guess gone are the days that you wanted your starter to get to at least the 6th or 7th inning.

Twice through the line up is all they're allowing for their starters. It's really dangerous in a 7 game series. The bullpens are wearing out. I hope the Yankees close it out tonight and that the NLCS goes 7. bustamente 1
bustamente Posted October 20 Report Posted October 20 It's been way to long getting back to the World Series 41st appearance JCon 1
