The Unknown Poster Posted March 7, 2018 Report Posted March 7, 2018 "It's just too bad we're going to New Jersey" - Laine on the day off today. lol
Goalie Posted March 7, 2018 Report Posted March 7, 2018 Taylor Hall has a point in 26 straight games. I'd play Mason again. He wasn't really tested much vs NY FrostyWinnipeg 1

iHeart Posted March 7, 2018 Report Posted March 7, 2018 what first game in several weeks isn't challenging enough?
Goalie Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Lol. 31 shots . 25 came from the point with nobody in front... 2 beat him but he got lucky... He made 4 good saves. The fact ppl think the NYR actually had more than 4 or 5 scoring chances is mind boggling. Id imagine Helle and Hutch would have got a shutout also. He wasn't tested. blue_gold_84 1

Did you even watch the game? I agree with you on Mason getting another start but this claim he wasn't tested the other night vs. the Rangers is absolutely ridiculous. BomberBall Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 With Scheifele likely out tonight, I assume Tanev plays on the 4th and Armia moves up to the 'top' line with Wheeler at C? I don't think there's any point in disrupting the other 2 lines. Especially if Scheifele's injury is minor. The Unknown Poster 1
FrostyWinnipeg Posted March 8, 2018 Author Report Posted March 8, 2018 Jets hit the ice in Newark. Jacob Trouba is in a regular jersey, same for Shawn Matthias. Adam Lowry in non-contact, no sign of Mark Scheifele or Myers. The Unknown Poster 1

I was thinking the same, that Wheeler would move over to centre and they'd plug someone else in at RW on the top line. They could try Copp at 1C as well with some occasional line juggling (keeping Copp's minutes below a normal 1C pace). Ehlers could move up there too with Armia playing with Laine and Stastny.
BomberBall Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Lots going on this morning.... Ken Wiebe @WiebeSunSports 3m3 minutes ago Toby Enstrom draws back into the lineup, it’s a lower-body issue for G Steve Mason, not a third concussion and Michael Hutchinson will be recalled from #MBMoose of #AHL 0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes Ken Wiebe @WiebeSunSports 3m3 minutes ago #NHLJets HC Paul Maurice says C Mark Scheifele is day-to-day, no structural damage and injury is not related to one that kept him out for 16 games 0 replies 0 retweets 0 likes
BomberBall Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Ken Wiebe @WiebeSunSports 1m1 minute ago #NHLJets D Tyler Myers is expected to play tonight, while LW Mathieu Perreault is questionable. Blake Wheeler is staying on the wing for the time being, not moving back to centre. Line combos remain up in the air but Brandon Tanev will return to lineup.
The Unknown Poster Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Tough break for Mason. blue_gold_84 1
BomberBall Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Ken Wiebe @WiebeSunSports 4m4 minutes ago #NHLJets HC Paul Maurice wasn’t ready to say which D would come out for tonight’s game vs #NJDevils Maurice reiterated D Jacob Trouba won’t return before the end of the road trip, return of Adam Lowry is not imminent either Trouba was wearing a regular jersey this morning.
BomberBall Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 If Perreault can't go, that obviously changes things even more. Stastny to the top line, Armia to the 2nd and Copp centers Laine and Ehlers?
blue_gold_84 Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 Jee-zus... Mason just can't catch a break. Mark F 1
iHeart Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 okay apparently alot has happened this morning
Goalie Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 (edited) Id imagine Perreault/Connor Little Wheeler since Maurice said Wheeler will be playing Wing Ehlers Stas Laine Perreault/Connor Copp Roslovic Tanev Hendricks Armia Edited March 8, 2018 by Goalie
Goalie Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 (edited) Post charts all you like BTW..... Like its HfBoards with a bunch of nerds all over the place... Regardless of charts... Mason wasnt really tested much and watching the game again will show you that. Edited March 8, 2018 by Goalie
iHeart Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 oh goody another player Wheels played with, we usually have the best luck when we sign people that played with the Jets at one point but Helle is starting tonight right?

What that chart doesnt show you is 95 percent of those shots were with nobody in front of him aka simple saves
