rebusrankin Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 Its really interesting that both Edmonton and Saskatchewan cut Augustine. Glad we got him.
The Unknown Poster Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 David William Naylor ✔ @TSNDaveNaylor At @Wpg_BlueBombers practice, QB @MattNichols16 fell straight back and seemed to favour his knee. Had to be helped off the field by two trainers. Walking steadily with help. #CFL #bombers
coach17 Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 After watching him in the 2017 combine I really thought he would be a first or second round pick. He wasn’t even drafted and got signed by Edmonton and cut early then a short stint with Sask. I’m baffled as I figure he has all the tools, great north south runner with some moves, hits holes quickly and doesn’t dance, excellent blocker and real good pass catching skills out of the backfield. Always thought there may be something I missed maybe with attitude. Hope he works out well here. Tracker 1
Cam P Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 If this injury to Nichols is as serious as it sounds, the Bombers season just went up in flames. TBURGESS, Mark F and kelownabomberfan 2 1
Mike Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 That would be just great. And before anyone asks, NO we don't want Darian Durant back, that loser. The Classic 1

Mike Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 I do think Streveler is for real, I just don't really want to find out this year. Fatty Liver and johnzo 2

The Unknown Poster Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 If given the choice, I'd go with the back up over Durrant. Who else is out there? Trade for Ray?
shadybob Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 **** is the season going to end before it even begins...
Jpan85 Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 Looks like we see more Streveler Ross and Bennett Friday

If the Bombers are forced to trade for a QB now they will have to give up some serious assets to acquire a decent one.
Jpan85 Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 They do have a extra first round pick. Got a weird feeling Trestman May like MBT more than Franklin and he might be available.
Jpan85 Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 But giving a 75 % chance that it’s not a season ending injury.
Bigblue204 Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 Even if he is out 5-7 weeks it's not that bad. Better to get hurt early than late. Albertabomberguy 1

Blueandgold Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 If we had to make a move for a QB, I see Masoli or Adams in the Hamilton being the most likely targets.

Mike Posted June 6, 2018 Report Posted June 6, 2018 I can't see Toronto letting go of Franklin ... Vernon Adams seems like the way we'd be going most likely.
