rebusrankin Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 Looking at those cuts, you have to wonder how bad the Riders SMS status is.

Owens has been irrelevant as a player & getting by with his reputation for years now. That would be one move I'd agree with. johnzo and Bigblue204 2

Booch Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 What's the over under on the number of guys they go scrap heaping on after all the cuts are made??... Gleefully am pretty sure bombers will make....zero.. we are going to have a hard enough time squirelling away all our cuts to save for a later date

Every year he & Murphy load up on their rejects. The Stamps should send the Riders a bill for scouting. Mark F, Fred C Dobbs and rebusrankin 1 2

rebusrankin Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 Their fans claim this just shows how deep their receiving corps is.

Better than Bombers who go dumpster diving each year in the cuts or free agents from Sask, Montreal, and BC - the bottom dwelling teams.

What's that say about a team's scouting when they cut their own recruits & sign the cuts from the Stamps? That it was a fail. WTH is Murphy doing from November to May?

And this year Bombers brought in more of their own finds which is good, but not sure about bringing in a boat load of ex-Lions. Their D was not dominant the last few years either. We'll have to see if that is any kind of upgrade. With Nichols out we'll find out sooner rather than later...
TheSource Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 Cauchy cut by BC. How do you think it will be before Jamaal demands that they sign him in Montreal? Bet he is there before their next game...

Brandon Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 I hope we sign Bagg purely to anger the Rider fans .... it would kill them to see another fan favorite in blue and gold

Oline and Dline have struggled for a while in BC. You can only cover for so long before the REC are going to get open. I'm not saying Gaitor is going to be an all star or anything, but the weakness to that Defense started with the Dline.
17to85 Posted June 9, 2018 Report Posted June 9, 2018 Not going to lie, I was really hoping Owens would be a starter for the riders. Brandon 1

Not Lions cuts, though so I'd say that is a big difference as the Bombers sought them out.
