Nice change from having to debate with the Hurl apologists that 'linebacker tackles don't mean that much, its about gaps...'

I'm certainly no Hurl apologist... but appears they are used in completely different ways,,, Hurl was given an "assignment" that seemed to attempt to hide or mask his inadequacies... where as Bighill seems to be given free range to do what he feels is best (for the most part)... the difference is Bighill can do it and is great at it... Hurl.... well.... not so much...

Fixed that for you.

yes they have Biggie playing the MLB position they way you need to in order to be successful..thus allowing JSK and Moe/Fenner to play accordingly to be successful..which ripples into the secondary...and further confirrms this 'gap filling' role of Hurl's was just a B.S smokescreen to not throw him under the bus for the team's oversight in not adequately filling that position and adjusting the ratio accordingly

That's basically my point...

Hall did actually start this season with schemes that still used Bighill like a Hurlbacker...  thankfully that stopped after only a couple games - it was ridiculous watching Bighill up in the middle of the DL

Its very nice to have a real MLB again

Hypothetically Fenner in at SAM and Mo out is a wash but would love to have both. Not excited at all about Gaitor. Don't see how Flanders sees the field.

Mo is definitely an upgrade from Fenner at SAM

Spit. Leggett seems to have gotten a lot more brittle of late. If he cannot go, that is a significant setback for the defence.

could be preventive. He missed a big chunk of time, and even being back in shape with out having a TC to ease into game action and game speed a few extra vet days would be wise. Course he could be hurt, its just a possibility.

No doubt. The question is, do we gain more from the upgrade of MO at sam then we lose having fenner at db? Either way if both guys are on the field im not worrying about it. 1a and 1b for the best sam in the league.

I hope corney is back and healthy soon. He was reallying turning the corner before he got hurt. He is going to make a tough decision next year at DE.

Leggett comes back superhumanly early from an Achilles tendon and we're calling him brittle now... umm...

It happens. Some athletes never come back at all from career-threatening injuries, and some are never quite the same again. I would think this would apply to great majority.

O’Shea said he expects Leggett to practice tomorrow.

Good. For all the hype, Fenner is not as good as Moe. And Moe is an asset to his community as well as his team.

It will always amuse me that since the defence has been better since Fenner has been out, people assume there’s a correlation. Fenner will be an asset to this defence and as much as I think Leggett is great, to say he’s a huge upgrade over Fenner is grossly uninformed at best.

He's 31 years old now... 32 in October... safe to say you don't bounce back as quickly when you reach that mark...

There’s still some time, but Moe Leggett’s status for Friday appears in question as he has yet to practice this week. At that dimeback spot, Chandler Fenner looks to be closing in on a return after missing three games. #Bombers

Balls.

sounds like he hurt himself at the lake, saw quite a few videos of him on the jetski on instagram he looked fine.
