At his age and with his injuries .... I think he might be done or very close to it with that. Really hate seeing it go that way for him, but that was why I thought he would be best served going out on top and calling it quits while still healthy. I think the Franklin era is now beginning in TO.

Rich Posted June 24, 2018 Report Posted June 24, 2018 TSN reporting it is a neck injury and only precautionary at this point. Hoping Ricky is okay.
Zontar Posted June 24, 2018 Author Report Posted June 24, 2018 (edited) Argos, supposedly elite, got obliterated. Media built Argos into something out of proportion after GC and looks like Argos bought into it . Dont appear like they did much over off season apart from Franklin Average team with only a few above average players sprinkled in. Edited June 24, 2018 by Zontar The Classic and Doublezero 2
Jpan85 Posted June 24, 2018 Report Posted June 24, 2018 Argos were written off too last year. Will wait a few more weeks to do that.
SpeedFlex27 Posted June 24, 2018 Report Posted June 24, 2018 Wilder looks like he's worth every penny he got on his contract. Wah, wah, wah, wah.
do or die Posted June 24, 2018 Report Posted June 24, 2018 Was wondering how the Riders beat the Argos.....light beginning to dawn The Classic and Doublezero 2

East, again, will be such that Argos will be in playoff contention. But not elite by any stretch. Bigblue204 and The Classic 2
M.O.A.B. Posted June 24, 2018 Report Posted June 24, 2018 41-7. Hmmm if Argos is that bad, Riders win in Week 1 is a fluke.

blueingreenland Posted June 24, 2018 Report Posted June 24, 2018 Don't worry about the Argos. They only have to win a few at the end of the season to make the playoffs... 🙄

They definitely can't rush him back into action. I'm sure he can and will recover, but at age 38 soon to be 39 that's going to take longer. Meantime, I wasn't impressed at all with Franklin's play, but the way the Argos as a whole were playing it's probably not something you can make a judgment call on yet.
