I would bet the Red Blacks are feeling cocky after their last week  blow out ... by contrast I expect a relaxed business like approach from the perennial first place finishers ... it would not surprise me to see Calgary pull away in the 2nd Q

I think it will be a lot closer than most think. The Stamps have a habit of not showing up in the big games,

Not in the summertime, they don't. Looking back to 2013, they're 14-4-2 in their first four games every season.

One of those ties was last year against this same Redblacks team. Actually, that team wasn’t as good as this one, this one has a Noel Thorpe defence.

CAL took clean gorgeous red and white unis and over the years warped it into clown suits. Don't get it

Thanks to their equipment manager of 50 years who is colour blind. Both teams have black helmets like go figure.  This is all on George Hopkins. He was the one who brought in the black helmets, decides on what the team wears  on Game Day & was the man behind the ugly black in their uniforms.

Looks like Thorpe's defense is going to be a thorn in everyone's side again. Giving CAL all they can handle.

Stamps put it in the end zone but it wasn't easy. The Stamps taking a lot of unnecessary penalties.

Mitchell's best days might be in the past. He looks pretty ordinary. Missed wide open receivers a few times. Passes no where near them.

Can't do anything when the pocket collapses.

last year sore arm was the post season excuse.

More concerning is Stamps attendance which is in free fall. Great team but the crowds are getting smaller & smaller.... Fans just don't want to go to games at the 58 year old McMahon Stadium. Plus losing the last 2 Grey Cups has pissed a lot of people off here & have decided that they don't want to go to games anymore. Those 2 losses has really hurt the bottom line. We need a new stadium here but no one wants to build one. The Flames who own the Stamps only care about their team. They want a new $600 million arena for their hockey team & the City & the Flames are back negotiating but it does not include a new stadium.  Meanwhile the team keep winning but fans stay away.  The scary part is someday the Stamps will fall on hard times & when that happens the stadium will be a ghost town.
