SpeedFlex27 Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Gonna be tough to win in Edmonton & Reilly throws the best deep ball in the CFL but it is doable. The Esks D is average at best.
HardCoreBlue Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 When they were both CFL commentators on TSN, I sensed Lapo and Benevides kind of had a hate on for each other. Should be an interesting game to watch how they try to out scheme one another. Tracker 1

do or die Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Hopefully we don't lose too many 50/50 balls in the secondary SPuDS 1
Mark F Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Duke might be making some jazzy plays against our secondary . SPuDS 1
Eternal optimist Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Any given Saturday doesn't have quite the same ring to it... but every game starts 0-0, right? Cautiously optimistic.

17to85 Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Protect the football and force some turnovers. That's how you win in the cfl these days. Noeller and blue_gold_84 1 1
blueingreenland Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 I was hoping to see the new returner debut for us, but oh well. Hopefully Fogg can break a couple.

Harris needs to have a big game against a lousy run defense. Nichols needs to play smart. On D, they'll have to contain and pressure Reilly to keep damage through the air to a minimum. Exactly 52 weeks ago to the day, the Bombers went into Edmonton and got a huge win. Hopefully, history will repeat itself tonight. SPuDS, Mr Dee and Mark F 2 1
BomberBall Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Seriously though, what is the deal with Poop?
Tracker Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Bombers cannot, repeat, cannot let the Esks build any sizeable (more than 10 points) lead or let the Esk ground game get untracked. If this happens, we will be boned no matter how much time is left on the clock. This team has not shown the ability to fight back from a deficit as in previous years when the games were often won in the last quarter. Fatty Liver and Mark F 1 1

Well, if that happens, Richie Hall can get left off the team bus on the way home.
jazzsax Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Hall for Mayor! (Of Tuktayuktuk. Ship him out please)
Blueandgold Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 The Harris injury scare still wasn’t enough to get Flanders on the roster. Still, I’m just happy that our guys are all healthy.
trueBlue83 Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 As hard as I've been on Nichols the last year, he does seem to find a way to bring it against his former squad. Here's hoping he can scrounge something together today and get a W.. a W today changes the complexion moving forward!
NorthernSkunk Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Watching the game in sunny Vernon BC ......GO BOMBERS 38- 24 Bombers
SpeedFlex27 Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 We're tied for last place with that sad sack Lions team.
Mark F Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 don't let Reilly move up in the pocket, and escape out on the left side. Bombers should be ok against the run. Edmonton has a good D line, do something to keep them under control. Edmonton linebackers are not very big, run right at them.

I think our OL is better than Edmonton so hopefully Reilly will stay upright today.
bustamente Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Can't believe that Bighill is playing that injury looked nasty
JuranBoldenRules Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Lucky Reilly missed that one. Another full blitz and Loffler scrambling in cover 1.
SpeedFlex27 Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 Randle beaten like a rented mule.
