I might have to go look that up... I was genuinely curious... and I found a couple: 1975 - Willie Burden (RB) CGY, missed the playoffs with a 6-10 record 1977 - Jimmy Edwards (RB) HAM, missed the playoffs with a 5-11 record I think that's it going all the way back to 1953. So as good as Reilly's numbers are, odds are against him winning MOP after missing the playoffs. JCon and Rod Black 1 1

SpeedFlex27 Posted November 3, 2018 Report Posted November 3, 2018 (edited) The other two players were basically the entire team by themselves. Burden set a CFL record for rushing in a single season in 1975 (since broken) while Edwards dominated similarly in 1977 rushing for over 1,500 yards. Both players didn't have a qb like Reilly on their team. Burden had Joe Pisarcik while Edwards had Jimmy Jones. They put their teams on their back & carried them. Reilly struggled without Derel Walker & especially after Duke Williams was hurt. Edited November 3, 2018 by SpeedFlex27
