Jacquie Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 The only game with meaning this weekend. Looks like BC is playing their starters. Can the Stamps end their skid to finish first is the big question.
Doublezero Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 1stQ Stamps looks they are are back and will be a playoff force.
Mark F Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) need a diving penalty in the CFL. That roughing the kicker acting job by B.C. including limping off, was cheap and lame. lions need to give that large crowd something. Edited November 4, 2018 by Mark F

Ridiculous that a coach needs to challenge that call to get it overturned and now can't challenge a bad call for the rest of the game. That same bad call could happen in the 4th quarter. Mark F Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) yeah, I agree about that. It makes no sense that way it is. This game looks like it's over by the half. Edited November 4, 2018 by Mark F
Mark F Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 do not think the LIons next head coach will come from any of the current staff.
bustamente Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 BC going thru the motions, looks like we are going to Regina
Mark F Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 (edited) Lulay line: 10/16, 111 yds, 2 INTs. getting picked off by a d lineman. playing badly. played badly last game against Sask. BC defence a mess. they had a few games run of playing well, which seems to be over. Big crowd there, it's really too bad they have nothing to cheer about. Edited November 4, 2018 by Mark F
trueBlue83 Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 No way Lions are coming back in this one.... so, who's going to Regina next Sunday??

Agreed, Diving like that just makes the sport and the league look bad. Not only a penalty but They need to fine him for that crap
JCon Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 I'm ready to buy my tickets to next Sunday's game. Just finish them off already, Calgary.
JCon Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 Jennings throws up a terrible toss, that should have been picked, but Calgary is playing a D so soft it would make Hall blush, and so, they get it on the 1 instead. Ay, caramba!
SpeedFlex27 Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 Mitchell has to get the Stamps moving again. We don't want the Riders to finish first.

SpeedFlex27 Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 We're going to Regina. We're going to take down the Riders. I can feel it. The hometown fans. The pressure. Let's hope the Rider players collective collars are a little tight. Noeller, Rod Black and rebusrankin 3

They'll all be looking for work next season. I think Jason Maas may be the guy if he's fired. He & Hervey are close.

Would that not fall under the heading of "unsportsmanlike conduct"?
TBURGESS Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 Diving penalty? LOL. Kickers have been doing it forever. Sometimes the refs buy it. Mostly they don't. In the old days, there was nothing the coaches could do about it. Now they can burn their challenge if they want to. I'd like to see the 'eye in the sky' be able to overturn or apply 'roughing|contacting the kicker' after a quick look.

The CFL has way worse problems to worry about than an idiot kicker trying for an Oscar for best actor.
Mr Dee Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 With a little digging I found out Ty Long attended the Regina School of Embellishment. Courses include feigning illegal contact on kickers. That’s not their specialty however. What they really excel is teaching faking injuries. The irony is that Long mistakingly registered in the School of Embezzlement. When he applied for a refund, they told him the money had disappeared. Rod Black and rebusrankin 2
Tracker Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 I would have believed that performance if they had done a field amputation on the spot.
17to85 Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 I never really believed the Lions were as good as their streak indicated. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hamilton beat them next week. Tracker and Noeller 1 1

SpeedFlex27 Posted November 4, 2018 Report Posted November 4, 2018 I don't expect Lulay, .Jennings or Fajardo to be back in BC next season. Wally was still running the show this season. No way he'd have listened to Hervey if he was told to cut any one or two of them. Now that Buono will be gone there's a new sherriff in town who knows he can't win a championship with any of those 3 players.
