Thanks for all those stats.  Even though it's clear that from those numbers the Bombers should just forfeit the game and save the travel money, I think that they'll play the game anyways.

Bare bone stats like this really have no meaning.

For instance: does it take into account the Bombers were in the East Division a number of those years, or that both teams missed the playoffs a number of those years? They did meet in the Grey Cup in ‘07. We all know the events surrounding that match.

So, in 52 years, the Riders beat us in the playoffs 4 times. Wow..impressive.

How have you guys not realized this already. Hurl is not the starting MLB in the games. Judge is now the starting MLB and he gets a majority of the reps where Hurl will fill in.

As you would be quick to tell anyone else - there are other variables that have to be accounted for:

1. All three teams have or had injuries at key positions - who has the best situation right now in terms of injuries?

2. Is anyone going to start their 2005 or 1965 Quarterback?

3. Of those third place teams - how close were their records to the second place team?  Were they third place teams that had a slow start but picked up the pace late in the year?

4. Did they beat the first and second place teams convincingly late in the season?

Note: these questions may be considered rhetorical.
