blueingreenland Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Go Bombers! Hope we can get out to a quick lead.
Blue_Dragoon Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Lankford in for Thompkins. Is Thompkins hurt or is this just a production thing?

rebusrankin Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 I predict Lankford does nothing (come on reverse jinx).

17to85 Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Last time we played in Calgary Lankford scored that big touchdown. It's called playing the percentages, it's what smart managers do to win ball games. rebusrankin and Noeller 2
Tracker Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 I do not expect Lankford to be much more than a decoy, but it would be nice to be mistaken. Once the Calgary DBs realize that Lankford is not much of a threat unless the ball is gently delivered into his arms, his usefulness will be greatly diminished.
NorthernSkunk Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Yay Yay an extra, extra Bomber day ! Gonna wear my coyote t-shirt under my Bomber jersey and cheer on Matty and the team to another win ! Lankford for the winning TD......even though we win by 3 scores anyway.....WooHoo GO BOMBERS GO !

The thing about Lankford is his speed and it's not like Calgary can just ignore him. He brings a deep threat and along with Adams presents Calgary with some coverage problems. That should help to open things up underneath for Dressler and Woli. I actually like this move. Look for Nichols to surprise with a real good game through the air today. Bombers by 10.
trueBlue83 Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 I heard Bo Levi was at the pancake house this morning, and started choking on some breakfast sausage.... it's starting early folks!
White Out Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Looks like snow is possible, or freezing rain.

Blueandgold Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 I would rather start Peterman than Lankford, but our fifth receiver hopefully won’t be winning or losing us this game. GO BOMBERS
17to85 Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 For the lack of use Thompkins was getting it don't really matter if it's Lankford. Maybe we get lucky and Lankford makes a big play but he's likely to be a non-factor and probably not worth fretting about.
Bigblue204 Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 I'm not concerned about the recieving aspect of the spot Lankford is filling...I'm more concerned about the run blocking. Is Lankford as good as Thompkins? HardCoreBlue 1

Instead of trying to call plays in audibly we should also come up with some nifty sideline signals to fight the crowd noise. I got the idea from the same source that supplied your stellar winning tactic: 17to85, rebusrankin and bigg jay 3
NorthernSkunk Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 The piece on Ward on the pregame show was a nice story.

Bomber_fanaddict Posted November 18, 2018 Report Posted November 18, 2018 Thank God Black and Ford are doing the East final! Let's hope we dont get Suitor... Tracker 1

Let's hope we dont get Suitor... of course it's going to be Suitor, he's TSNs top CFL colour commentator. What they should do is pair Black and Suitor together and then you've consolidated all the suck into one game rather than spreading it over 2 games. Bigblue204 1
