I dont get it. Unless they are taking it easy on purpose their Team D is atrocious and just awful. Doesn't help that Maurice gives the 4th line under 10 a night. Killing ESW every game

Last season, the Jets were 42-1-1 when holding a lead after 40. By comparison this season, they're 7-3-2.

Team defense has been pretty much disastrous and by extension, goaltending has struggled.

Lack of killer instinct.  Lack of D.  And if Helle is going to be average, there is going to be some issues this season.
