A battle of futility between Nichols and Harris would’ve been something to watch for sure.

Well - Nichols wouldn’t have taken any chances - Redblacks did have almost 400 yards of offense.

BLM is a great CFL quarterback, but his job if he ever got a chance in the NFL would Tablet holder if he would be happy doing that best of luck.

Is he any worse than Nathan Peterman, Josh Allen, Blake Bortles, Case Keenum, Geno Smith, Sam Bradford etc?

I'm guessing we are going to find out, but I think if the NFL had any real interest they would of taken a look by now.

I don't think Harris played all that badly today. Calgary's defence was clearly superior to Ottawa's offence. Once Williams busted that kick return for a TD,  and then a quick TD pass, Harris had to take chances and got burned. When the RBs got way behind, they had to pretty much abandon their productive run game and that was that. Rogers and Matthews were the difference.

The third down drop by Sinopoli in the red zone was huge.

That would be 72 4 yard passes

They’d dominate the TOP. Any defence that needed to be played could be Bighill all by himself.  LaPolice would be seen clutching his headset ecstatically - his scheme vindicated at last.

So why was field so slippery?

I asked the same question. Calgary got 13 cms of snow Friday. Edmonton nothing. No reason for the field to be in that condition. Knowing Edmonton they turned on the sprinklers.

Statistics are for losers.

Sure. But they also show that there were factors in that game besides the QB

I could honestly live with our QB throwing picks because he was taking chances, trying to mount a come back.

With the Stamps dropping back in prevent, we would have handed off to Harris and hoped he could bust a 75 yarder, running right up the middle.

So sounds like the talk is about moving the game up. Penton's article in the Athletic mentioned that bidders for 2020 were told the game would be one week earlier.

Edmonton has always had an issue every time games happen in November. It's been known for 30 + years....

Bombers used to bring multiple sets of shoes to try....

Watched the game at a buddies. Not a classic fer damn sure. We kept switching to the Packers/Vikings game. Bo Levi in the NFL? I highly doubt it....

That was due to the natural turf. They replaced it a few years ago now. They can't use that as an excuse. Should have spent some money on a heating system under it.
