1) Don't help your competition when they're down

2) Nobody makes trades like that because they can just wait until the cuts come and get someone for free

Oh you think Edmonton prefers to go thru the entire tc and preseason without a LT for their new QB and receivers?

They’ll pluck him off our PR anyway if he’s as good as we say

Nobody they can get at this time that can replace his level of play. Sucks for Edmonton but good for us.

Hard to say. Proven in the CFL no, but Hardrick was a bit of an unproven commodity when he got here.

Regardless, not good for them.

It honestly is, he had all the tools to be a starter. Maybe he decides to give it another try next year.

Given who we have here at the moment and pending arrival (Kongbo), as much as Corney had all the physical tools, he would have a hard time cracking the lineup this year.

Meanwhile in Calgary,  starting veteran OG Brad Erdos went down in a drill this afternoon similar to a ruptured Achillles.  Supposedly no one touched him. A very unhappy Dave Dickenson told the media that it's a serious injury & Erdos could be out "long term".  They have no one to back him up. Calgary doesn't have the depth it had in previous years.  Huge blow to their OL.

Ouch in more ways than one. My first reaction was to gloat but the Bombers could be the next team to lose a key player.

Yeah, injuries are part of the game. We'll have our share.

lol...it's come up twice this week about the pre-season TV sched, but it was actually released like 2 or 3 months ago. So weird that it's coming up all of a sudden like it's news.
