And I'm glad he didn't. We would've never heard the end of it and the grey cup parade they would've already planned and labour day classic and blah blah blah blah.

Reilly was never, in a 100 million years, going to the Riders. It was BC all along, and an OUTSIDE shot at staying with the Esks. I would put the Riders at nearly last on his list of places he'd go...up there with Montreal.

Except that Reilly had a couple of working eyes to see with.....

This obviously one the Regina reporters asking him this, (who else would care) and Mike Reilly gave a P.C. response instead of laughing in his face. Everybody knew Reilly to BC was a done deal since mid season of last year. I guess the best way to end any speculation of tampering by Hervey is for Reilly to say he was open to offers though.

This  and That:

The Ticats have three of the top 11 picks in the 2019 draft and five in the top 20 and should be able to add some talent if they need to. They also own the Alouettes’ first round picks in 2020 and 2021 as part of the Johnny Manziel trade… so yeah, as long as they don’t completely botch the draft – and they generally haven’t – they should be able to keep the national pipeline flowing for a few years yet. 3downnation

Montreal has seven quarterbacks under contract – including the polarizing Johnny Manziel who Reed acquired last season from Hamilton. Johnny Football is due an off-season bonus of $75,000 on March 1, which could put the Alouettes in a bind - 3DownNation

The AAF drew a big television audience on CBS for its opening weekend, but the fact the league did not release its second week of ratings reveals how much of that was simply curiosity. Meanwhile, attendance last weekend was so poor in three of the four cities that the league was mocked for juicing attendance figures.

👁‍🗨When your easiest point of comparison is a league that does roughly 75 times more in annual revenue than you do, there are going to be times when the CFL looks small-time.

👁‍🗨Ticats add possible Larry Dean replacement in former Argos LB Justin Tuggle...soon to be known as the Tuggle switch.

👁‍🗨AAF will now be known as the RAF (Reliance of American Financiers) -

👁‍🗨Am told that TD celebrations now will be to honour Tom Dundon...

Good for Hamilton. Stand by my previous stance that Regina should not host as they lack the infrastructure.

Since the last **** show out here, there is 5 new larger hotels that have been built. And one burned down(but it was a slum)
