iHeart Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) wow that was one helluva goal for the jets 1-0 why is Colorado wasting our time? Edited April 5, 2019 by iHeart
HardCoreBlue Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 This Colorado broadcast is making me vomit.
iHeart Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) Ehlers makes it 2-0 2nd period is over between nash and nucks, no change in the scoring since the last score update post and the blues are still leading except the score is now 6-3 Edited April 5, 2019 by iHeart
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 5, 2019 Author Report Posted April 5, 2019 After 1 Jets winning 2-0 After 2 Blues winning, 6-3 After 2 Nash losing 2-1
BomberBall Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 That was the quickest offside review I’ve ever seen.
iHeart Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) well I guess we're not clinching tonight, because the blues are leading 7-3 and Nashville tied their game UPDATE: nash won 😠 Jets will need to win this one in order to get back up there Edited April 5, 2019 by iHeart
FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 5, 2019 Author Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) In other games Blues beat Flyers and Nash beat Canucks. Well guess we gotta win tonight and Saturday. Edited April 5, 2019 by FrostyWinnipeg

Goalie Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 Regardless... This team plays 1 period very good but then sleep for 2. Closed door meetings can't fix that. Jets gonna be 3rd in central. Lose to St Louis in 5 or 6.

The Unknown Poster Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 What a stupid decision by buff. Goalie 1

I'll state the obvious but when they play big, strong and fast like they did for the first period very few teams in this league can keep up. I guess they just don't have the energy and health to maintain that pace. I think there is indeed something to the argument about being gassed. The season length and physical impact on their bodies have caught up to some of them. For example Shief looked a half a step behind his normal self. Hopefully they can rediscover that extra gear for the playoffs. The Unknown Poster 1
Goalie Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 Colorado adjusted after the 1st. Maurice didnt. Connor Scheif Wheeler weren't good but played over 24 minutes... Ehlers played 12 and his line with Hayes and Perreault was our best. Coaching is a huge issue.

Only way we win if Helle allows 2 or less goals but even then he has a 930 save percentage last 9 games and Jets are like 1 6 2 in those 9. We done. Buff is pissed at Maurice about lack of PP time. pigseye Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 Better effort, game could have gone either way. This Jets team won't sweep anyone in the playoffs but in a 7 game series they might be able to outlast most teams.

FrostyWinnipeg Posted April 5, 2019 Author Report Posted April 5, 2019 Least on Saturday we will be playing a team that is not fighting to get into the playoffs but then so is NASH and STL.

iHeart Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) yeah but I'm hoping that maybe the 3-4 day rest will do the jets some good for once and they'll clobber the blues like Laine did back in November. sigh what did they have then that they don't have now? besides Brenden Lemieux. Noeller Posted April 5, 2019 Report Posted April 5, 2019 Concerned about where Buff's head is at. He got pissy about not getting PP time (he might be right to be, but that's irrelevant) and smashed a stick, then he gets out there in OT and fucks up. Super concerned about where he's at. A story from Noeller's youth: I used to play a lot of fastball, growing up. Both windmill and orthodox (no windmill/slingshot). We had this guy on our team my whole life growing up that was super talented...big, strong, just an all around athlete. But he was really big on being the hero. One year, we had a pretty bad team...didn't win many games. We somehow put it all together against one of the best teams in the league and were cruising...winning going into the bottom of the last inning. This guy had been playing another position, but decided he wanted to pitch. We all agreed "No, the other guy is dominating right now...it would be stupid to take him out" but the guy says "if you don't let me pitch, I'm going to screw up on purpose out here...I'll let balls go by me, etc..." Just a really bad attitude...would sabotage the team if he didn't get his way. So, fine...we let him pitch.....and the other team just tees off on him. We end up losing the game. Now.......I'm not saying this story has anything to do with the Jets........I'm just saying................ FrostyWinnipeg 1
