So where is his career now.....So far, for the time he's played he looks like he fits the 'bust' category ...Is he still on Montreal's roster?

Dont think he is. Think he went IR to PR, to UFA.

guys who are forced to quit due to injury, ones with no history of it, or ones who after 3 years decide to do other things after playing 3 full seasons..are not busts...sorry...Ekakite..Etienne..Pencer..Richards...those are busts in the draft process.

Tyson Pencer. There's a name from the past. Anyone care to speculate who the biggest bust in Bomber history was?

Ettiene and Faith have to be up there. Did Faith ever play a down?

He did rostered parts of 14 games and made 5 tackles.

Faith, addison richards, tyson pencer, jade ettiene, andy mulumba (2nd over all never played a down up here)

Don't forget Paul Swiston, at 6'-9"  342 lbs. he was hard to miss, along with Pencer and Sorensen  they were supposed to be the towers the O-line was built around.

Actually the game where we stuffed CGY about 3 or 4 times from inside the 3 yard line he was key in that...and what was funny that the play they scored was the play they subbed him out lol

This was an instance tho with Faith that we picked a run stuffing specialist (situational player), which what he had been and trained as and tried to totally convert to something else to suit the Canadian game as a more versatile style of DT...and therein lied the problem as he was struggling with it, and we just couldn't afford the SMS hit to develop it in him...wasn't practical.

I watched the guy and he was a beast, and very stout but totally not suited to a Canadian DT spot...round peg in square hole scenario...Now if we played an exclusive 3-4 true nose tackle defense..where he occupied spce, pushed the pocket and kept the attention of the center/guards..he would have thrived more..probably still been here

Idk swiston was a 4th round pick, that's just overhyping.

Jesus people, there is grey area between bust and home run draft pick.

All the names mentioned are firmly in the bust territory - people are just arguing semantics about what to call an unforseeable failure.

Every CFL team has a huge history of first round busts.  Only a little over 50% of NFL first rounders get to be regular starters, and the CFL pipeline is far more unpredictable.

Give the draft 5 years before you can truly judge it.  Most players will take years to develop and you never know with injuries and outside influences.  Nobody is getting rich so it isn't surprising when some decide it is time to move on.  It is pretty crazy when you find out where a lot of the best National players in the league were drafted.  For every Chungh there are plenty of St John's.

Not sure what value there is in critiquing the drafting history of the bombers prior to Walters calling the shots after Mack was fired.  We know they were bad at drafting until that point.

The biggest problem with the Etienne pick was that it was such a gamble on upside for a team that didn't have the depth to make that kind of pick.  Coehoorn was such an obvious pick, but they took Etienne because he'd eventually turn into something and have a long career.  Can't think that way in the CFL Draft.  Draft for the next 2-3 seasons.

Addison Richards' potential was really limited by injuries and wasn't a first round pick.. I wouldn't put these two in the same category.

Rookie season is full of firsts for Richards

Addison RIchards: "Emagardz! You guys still talking about me?"
